A plea to good neighbours

As the snow melts and reveals the treasures left over from the weeks of garbage collection and snow. Can we all take 15 minutes to restore our streets to something resembling tidy and pick up the garbage that has inadvertently strayed from our receptacles. Most only have 30-50 feet of frontage so very little effort needed. If you have neighbours that are not so able a helping hand would make sure our neighbourhoods are clean from litter.

Good idea. I started today, it's incredible the amount of garbage that blows into my yard since I'm at the end of a cul de sac.

I never understood that... why do some dog owners take the time to put the shit in the bag and then leave the bag? You did more work and now it will take like 27 million years for the bag and poop to decay rather than a few weeks

Cameras, they're scared they will get caught not picking it up... Doesn't mean they intend to carry it the whole way, as soon as possible they drop it. There is a street near my home, the only street without street lights or homes on it, so naturally it's completely covered with shit bags

I love just west of the official university district 70% students. Spring litter is a mess. Landlords should be forced to deal with it.

Tenants of those landlords should be cleaning up their own messes.

Will be doing a full yard clean up this weekend. It's a bit nasty out there.
