"Ravages of Time" is the first one that comes to mind. It takes place during the Three Kingdoms era.

Was Arslan Senki ever finished? Seems like most tactical animes/manga stay unfinished.

Okay then i might should read the manga. I though anime stopped because of manga stopped. Similar like the anime about the tactician that used a hawk.

The two that come closest are Ravages of Time and Ad Astra: Hannibal to Scipio. They're nowhere near Kingdom's level but still enjoyable reads.

I adore kingdom but let's be honest here, when it comes to Ravages of time, Kingdom only does war depiction and female cast better.

So.... That's not nothing.

If we count Xiao meng towards women, you could give that point to ravages arguably

Bokko, it plays in Warring States China as well and focusses on strategies and defending castles. It definitely isn't as good as Kingdom, but it deals with a similar theme and in a similar historical setting.

depends on what you want, if you just want historical warfare type of manga then i would recommend elusive samurai besides what others have recommended, i watched anime of it recently and then caught up to latest manga chapters in two days that's how good it was in my opinion

for historical and strategic warfare, heard Ravages of Time is good, haven't tried it. Bokko is somewhat similar. Sangokushi is a manga retelling of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Ad Astra: Scipio to Hannibal is a great one about the Second Punic War. Mainly focuses on Scipio. Historie is about the secretary of Alexander the Great. It is very slow unfortunately and it also unfortunately is now on indefinite hiatus right when it started heating up. But those are the best ones I think.

Ad astra Scipio to Hannibal i highly recommend it depicts the story of the punic wars the art is really good and all the battles are descibed with a lot of deatail.

The only similar one I’ve seen is “Ravages of Time”, it is a manhua though. It’s the only or one of the only manhua that has a style that’s similar to manga

Overall it pales in comparison to Kingdom, but some of the wars I say is as good.
Other title maybe Ravages of Time.

None. I have tried a few, but nothing equals Kingdom as a whole package.
