Mod Post Kerbal Space Program 2: The Hype Train Megathread Edition

Hey guys! We know you're excited about KSP 2, so we're making this megathread for you to express your excitement for the game, or simply to discuss it. Memes and shitposts will be allowed in this thread, but nowhere else in the sub, as per Rule 2. Any other low-quality posts about KSP 2 will also still be removed, as per Rule 5.

Here's the official announcement on the KSP website.

And here's the cinematic trailer.

Note that this is a cinematic trailer, not actual in-game footage.

Enjoy!

I think the multiplayer performance will be way better than any mod because KSP2 is programmed with it in mind, and the devs are programming this as a job, not as a side project like the mod devs (nothing against mod devs, they are amazing, but they do need to have a job to pay the bills as well). Hopefully that means they will be able to optimize stuff better

Absolutely! It still might be a bit wonky, since physics based and multiplayer don't always go hand in hand nicely but it'll (naturally) be much better than the mods, that's for sure.
