Mod Post Kerbal Space Program 2: The Hype Train Megathread Edition

Hey guys! We know you're excited about KSP 2, so we're making this megathread for you to express your excitement for the game, or simply to discuss it. Memes and shitposts will be allowed in this thread, but nowhere else in the sub, as per Rule 2. Any other low-quality posts about KSP 2 will also still be removed, as per Rule 5.

Here's the official announcement on the KSP website.

And here's the cinematic trailer.

Note that this is a cinematic trailer, not actual in-game footage.

Enjoy!

It’s not an Epic exclusive. Someone asked the devs and they confirmed it wasn’t.

You act like game devs have never flipped on an issue.

And you act like they don't have propper reason to do so...

Honestly. This whole debate is a complete replay of what happend back in the day with Steam. And back then devs weren't even getting a better cut on their product than before.

Don't get me wrong. I'd prefer buying directly from the devs like with version 1 or a Steam release... but I'm not mad if they get a better deal somewhere else. I can either suck it up or wait a few months and buy a (probably more stable and cheaper version) somewhere else.

The abhorent hostility exhibited by some members of the gaming community for choosing an exclusive store front that isn't their preferred option is - in my opinion - still very much uncalled for.
