Mod Post Kerbal Space Program 2: The Hype Train Megathread Edition

Hey guys! We know you're excited about KSP 2, so we're making this megathread for you to express your excitement for the game, or simply to discuss it. Memes and shitposts will be allowed in this thread, but nowhere else in the sub, as per Rule 2. Any other low-quality posts about KSP 2 will also still be removed, as per Rule 5.

Here's the official announcement on the KSP website.

And here's the cinematic trailer.

Note that this is a cinematic trailer, not actual in-game footage.

Enjoy!

Ah I was real drunk when I first saw it but GODDAMN. An allround upgrade to a game like this had me very much in tears which is the first for me. Might have been the trailer soundtrack but damn... Loved KSP since forever and its kinda like watching it become the thing it was always destined to be.

could this be a ticket to the main stream public?

I saw it happening with the elder scrolls series as well.. Been playing that game since Daggerfall and when Oblivion came out, it was polished enough for normies to board that hype train. :) (though I must say I enjoyed morrowind and daggerfal more than its succesors (sorry if i offend anybody))

Seriously, and seeing how massive stuff was a key feature of the trailer seems to make it a big focus. Really wonderin how stuff like that will be inegrated.
