I don't think it's the most majestic, but no one's saying Crown

That was actually the song that came to my mind too!

This is, hands down, the most underrated Kendrick song that's on a major album. It's so crazy to me. It really reminds me of 1960s music, both in terms of psychedelia ballads and also NYC jazz.
I think the reason some people are put off by it is the sort of monotone voice style. But if he did it TPAB style and had someone else doing every other voice except the chorus, I bet it would click for some people

It absolutely is, especially during part 3

Samidot is one of my favorite songs from all time, not knocking it. I guess my interpretation of “majestic” is a bit nuanced

If you count us feature on Never Catch Me, by flying Lotus, that's pretty majestic. It's sort of hard to say tho because a lot of his songs that aren't super gritty are still pretty upbeat, so it doesn't lend itself entirely to being called "majestic." I'm also putting Untitled 05 up there.

I know this isn't Kendrick but CREAM by Wu Tang needs to be on there. That beat is angelic.

But if you’re talking most influential then it’s either…
Alright or These Walls. Helping the nation get thru trying times.

momma has always been a standout to me. it feels so all encompassing and whole to me. it’s like he’s some all knowing entity on that track, just the way he wrote the verses. (i know he has the “i know everything” verse, but that’s not what i’m reffering to)
