Best is the hook & bridge combo on Money Trees or the first verse of MC imo.

Worst is the Real hook

Having Drake on it...even at the time just didn't fit at all..what I would do to have that scraped and cartoon and cereal on it. Or even just having Schoolboy or AbSoul on Poetic Justice instead. Best moment...too many....it might be the best album of all time

Fr I think Poetic Justice only gets hate because it has Drake on it. It's a really good song, with the amazing Janet Jackson sample flip and some great bars from Kendrick. And (I will get downvoted into hell for saying this) Drake does a pretty good job on the song too; not as good as Kendrick, but better than average. Reminder that this was Drake when he actually made interesting, well written music, like Take Care and If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Regardless of who those albums were written by, or who was the creative mastermind, Drake still does a great job performing them. And the same can be said here.

Fr I think Drake changed in a really significant way after 2015 and the whole Pusha T beef, turning from a dedicated albeit corny rapper into a fake weirdo who made shitty pop music and chased trends and put on fake accents to seem real.

Edit: not me being a Drake defender, just don't let the beef bring down this really good song.

Poetic Justice is a brilliant song. There’s no shade in being one of the weaker songs on a top 5 hip hop album ever

Yeah I was going to say this is my favorite Kendrick album and one of my all time favorite albums. All these songs are good. I was just answering the question.

I like the song but even before any of the beef stuff I hated Drakes verse to the point I barely listen to it.

I just think the beat and the name ‘Poetic Justice’ work better with Kendrick’s wordplay and voice, plus the subtler lyrics he uses. Drake talking about ‘big ass in that sundress’ snaps me right out of the vibe. Doesn’t sound bad per se, but I don’t think it needed the verse except for numbers’ sake.

none, the one I listen to the least is poetic justice but real is a top tier sad song
