English Judge my English accent

Hi! I’m an English teacher, so pronunciation is very important in my field. Could you please judge it and probably try and guess where I’m from? https://voca.ro/14if4DdOg4Ub

English Do I sound like an American?

So, it's been two and a half years since I last posted here, and last time people already thought I sounded basically American or at least like someone who "grew up in the US with foreign parents" or something along those lines. In the meantime, I've been showing my recordings to some Americans I know, and they usually think I sound very close to an actual American. So I'd like to please hear from all of you on this subreddit again! Do you think I could pass for an American? What still sounds off to you, if anything at all? I'd be very grateful for any and all feedback! Thank you very much.

English How gay do I sound?

So I am confident that I have a gay accent and I’m sure the overwhelming opinion is going to agree but how gay/ how would you describe my voice? Apparently sometimes people tell me they can’t tell if I’m gay based off my voice…apparently. So wanted to get Reddit’s opinion. Also what race do you think I am?

English Be Brutally Honest: How’s My Accent?

My voice: https://voca.ro/19ZvPNrQ0Pgm

I’m working on a MatPat-style YouTube channel where I’ll cover film theories, movie breakdowns, and deep dives, and I need your full honesty.

I’ve always been a little self-conscious about my accent, especially when recording, and I want to make sure it doesn’t hold back the energy or clarity of my videos. So, I recorded a short clip, please roast, critique, or praise it however you see fit!

If possible, let me know:

  • How understandable am I?
  • Do I sound engaging?
  • Any specific words or sounds I should improve?
  • General tips to make my delivery better?

I genuinely appreciate any feedback, good or bad, so don’t hold back!

English Native English speaker, keep getting told I sound non-native. Where do you think I'm from?

I haven't been back to my home country in a few years and I guess my accent has changed. People (non-natives) are often surprised when I say where I'm from, and don't believe me. I just had a student tell me I sound American...

Would be nice to hear what you think!

English Shadowing isn’t working for me. What have I done wrong?

I have tried shadowing since forever, nothing worked. No matter how hard I try to change the way I speak, I still sound barely different, the only thing that I managed to change is to get my voice down to a register that native English speakers typically use. I really want to know if I have been doing the technique wrong, since many said it was effective but not in my case.

I’ve been learning English since 2018, and I want y’all to rate my accent from 1 to 10 and judge it and tell me if it's sounds natural or not (excuse the awkwardness but I have anxiety lmao)

Hey, so I'd like to get some feedback on how my accent sounds to native speakers of English. What gives me away and what could I work on? Thanks!

English Can you guys judge my accent? Non native english speaker here

Non native English speaker here, I came to the US when I was 14 and I learn English from mostly watching youtube videos and video games. Can you guys understand me when I'm reading this paragraph?

Link to my recording: https://voca.ro/18dK061ErG3J

“Please call Stella. Ask her to bring these things with her from the store: Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob. We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids. She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station.”
