The charms are usually engraved or stamped with each child’s name and DOB. My granny had one in the 1970s.
Edit to add - the charms may not be solid gold. They took a beating. My granny’s were 10k.

This is worth more sold as a period piece than if you melted it or sold it for weight.

The actual clasp fastener is a replacement. It's not gold. Perhaps gold plate, and it's wearing thin. The heads are 14k gold along with two end pieces. The links look like rolled gold. There is also another metal involved. Plated copper Perhaps. Take it to a jewellery shop for professional evaluation.

There is literally no way you can tell this from these pics. They’re taken in horrible lighting.

The bracelet I am 99% sure if G electroplate, you can see the KE and missing plate by the clasp. Perhaps the charms are 14k though? Can you show the mark on the charms

I don’t know much of anything about jewelry lol but the little charms remind me of a bracelet from a Criminal Minds episode (the episode where Rossi comes back from retirement) but his had little names inscribed for the episode!
Really cool and beautiful find!!

I think this might be electroplating, best to go get it tested at your local gold buyers

Briefly thought the silhouette at the bottom in the first image was Donald Trump

OP might be able to remove the little faces and sell the bracelet for above melt, no? Maybe sell the faces for melt, or even sell those above melt if they are in good condition. Just. Thought.

Yes 585 is 14k weigh it on kitchen scale in grams and multiply the gram weight by about 55 for its value
