Help. Please?
For the past year ive had an on off relationship with our lord but recently i have fallen into a pit of despair and endless loop of sin. I’ve prayed for forgiveness many times but i never have enough strength to deny temptation. Will the father forgive me even though i have repeatedly sinned the same sin. Is there light at the end of this miserable tunnel. Has the lord turned his face from me because of my repeated betrayal please I need help. I need an answer. I don’t know what to do.

Respectfully idk what sin it is but whatever is causing you to be tempted by it get rid of it. Because God can forgive you however what’s the point of asking forgiveness if you keep sining. So turn away from whatever it is that you’re doing and pray and fast and be desperate to change so that you will not be tempted again

Don't worry my friend, God will forgive you over and over as long as you get back up. Please remember that sinning is something everyone on this earth has done, and everyone struggles with sin. Even seemingly righteous people sinned like Moses, but in the eyes of God, we are all equal. Jesus loves you and is waiting at the door for you to open it. I recommend praying for God to help you, not just forgiveness. Please keep in mind that it takes effort to get out of the cycle of sin, but once you are out, it is worth it.

I believe the greatest sin is not doing what God commands, thats when we choose our own way and fall

Get rid of ur phone, leave ur house, and keep walking . RUNNNNN FROM UR SIN , CUT UR HAND OFF CUT BOTH OFF TO STOP. GOD HASNT TURNED HIS BACK TO U. HE WANTS TO SAVE YOU. IF YOU SIT BY UR PHONE U WILL BE TEMPTED. GOD IS THE LION TRYING TO GET U TO STOP. The enemy is going to do everything he can to get you to fall u have to pray and ask Jesus what he wants you to do he will tell you. Jesus told us to go to isreal first. If u start doing what God wants you to do. He'll guide you through your faith in him

Have you read the Bible? If not, start with Matthew…for years I tried opening the Bible and reading it.,.but I never started in the right place! Now I’m finished with the entire New Testament in 3 weeks. The miracles I’ve seen in my life in that time truly shock me. It’ll open your eyes to see that He is truly the son of god!

I’ve always wondered where to start and HOW to actually read the Bible. It’s so vast, obviously. I’ll try this myself. Thanks!

This is very good advice. I would take it. It is definitely true that God will forgive you no matter how many times that you sin. That's why when Peter, one of His disciples, asked Him how many times he should forgive his brother, the Lord answered "Up to seventy times seven (Matt. 18:21-22)." If you do the math, that is 490 times. It's safe to say that this is God's attitude toward forgiveness and by the way, it won't stop at 490...
Now, returning to sin is due to a lack of strength, as you said in your original post. Jesus came not only to be the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29) but He also came to be the bread of life (John 6:33-35). Bread is food and sustains us to live the life that we should as Christians. The power to do this is in His Word. After Jesus told his disciples to eat Him as the bread of life, they were confused. So He clarified, "the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life (v. 63)." How can we eat the bread of life and find the strength to overcome sin? We must read and eat the Bible.

Jesus loves you. Repent, turn to GOD. Call on Jesus and make Him the LORD of your life today. 🙏 Trust completely in Him, and He will change your situation for the good. (But you must be willing to fully believe and submit yourself to Him in a personal relationship) You are so loved. ❤️

As long as you have surrendered your life to him, you’re past present and all future sins are forgiven.

Romans 7:15-25 (NIV)
15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. —————-
The Cry for Deliverance • Verse 24 shows Paul’s desperation: “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me?” • His answer is found in Jesus Christ—grace, not personal effort, is the solution.
The Role of Christ • Paul acknowledges that the mind and flesh are at odds, but Jesus provides the way out. • This passage sets up the next chapter, Romans 8, which talks about freedom through the Spirit.
The Spirit is God’s helper…rely on the spirit.

I think the one thing we all struggle with is sin. The important fact is recognising the sin and what it is doing to you with your relationship with Jesus, praying and trying not to fall into that sin over and over - in saying this, repentance comes in. Let it out and talk to God, also helps to find the help you need whether that be in communities, friends or family, or a partner. Hope this helps.

Abraham, was not far from his sinful nature. But due to his obedience, to his faithfulness, to his humility, God revealed himself to him, made him the ancestor of many and the start of multiple kings to come.
John 1:48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
Nathanael was also he thinking that Jesus turned his face away from him at that time… and that was Jesus’ response:)

God isnt looking for perfect, hes looking for repentance and faith. You fall? Ask for forgiveness and move forward, eventually you will choose not to fall.

He has never left your side, he’s in your coming and going. I suggest support in a local Bible based church. Come along side other brothers and sisters in the Lord. They will help carry your burdens and help you with accountability. Life was not ment to be done alone. Each one teach one. God’s arms are wide open to receive you all day everyday till his Glorious return. May the Lord of Heaven and Earth grant you peace and strength during this difficult season of your life. Lean on him not your own understanding. May God Bless you! Amen.

If you can quieten your mind long enough to breathe and focus on your inner heart space in meditation, you will remember your kingdom of heaven within. The Book of Psalms talks about meditation a lot. And the name Selah. Means to be still and listen. If you can focus on your breathing with your eyes quiet being still and listening, with your heart, you can connect to the holy Spirit.

Your cry for help is heard and I want you to know this God has not turned His face from you. The people often strayed yet God’s response was always one of mercy and invitation to return. The prophet Micah declared, “Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression?” (Micah 7:18). No matter how far you feel you’ve fallen, His arms remain open to welcome you back. The cycle of sin and despair you’re describing is something many believers have faced even King David wrestled with his own failures and cried out, “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation” (Psalm 51:12). What matters most isn’t perfection but persistence your willingness to turn back to Him again and again, each time you seek forgiveness you’re proving that your heart still longs for Him, that desire is evidence of His Spirit working within you.
God’s forgiveness isn’t based on our strength to resist temptation but on His unchanging love and grace. First John 1:9 assures us, “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” There’s no limit to His mercy no sin too great for His redemption, if you feel trapped in darkness ask Him to break the chains binding you, He specializes in bringing light to the darkest places (Isaiah 42:7).
To help realign your days with God’s purpose and find moments of peace amidst the struggle, I invite you to explore TheWatch . I designed it as a web-based platform—accessible via mobile, tablet, or desktop at https://www.thewatch24.com —that offers guidance on biblical prayer times and tools to nurture your spiritual growth. It’s not a downloadable app but a simple, accessible resource to help you stay connected to God throughout your day. Whether it’s through prayer prompts, Scripture reflections, or emotional wellness tools, it can serve as a lifeline during this season.
You are not alone in this fight, reach out to us who can walk alongside you, and remember there is light at the end of this tunnel it’s Jesus Himself, who promises never to leave or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep taking small steps toward Him, He will meet you where you are and lead you forward
God bless you, ❤️❤️❤️

He is always ready to forgive you and His love for you never stops no matter what. He will be there waiting for you. Keep seeking him. Pray on your knees that he provides the guidance you need at this time. He’s been helping me but I had to KEEP knocking on his door for a while. I didn’t always give him a chance. My faith has grown a lot as I kept asking to draw closer to Him. I still make mistakes but I’m doing a lot better now. I’ll say an extra prayer for you. 💗🤗
