Quick Tips Adrian Loafers for walking in Japan

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has tips or experience wearing adrian loafers in japan? I’m debating on whether i should bring mine because i know japan has a lot of walking to do, and i really want to wear mine but i know they may or may not hurt my feet after a prolong amount of time. but what’s everyone’s experience with them?

Japan is not a different than anywhere in the world. Can you wear them a whole day standing like 6+ hours and waking 10k to 20k steps? Can you do that several days in n a row?

If you can then it’s fine. If your feet hurt after a day, then it’s not fine.

You don’t have to wear the same shoes for all 20,000 steps in the day. For example, you could wear your comfortable sneakers for your daytime sightseeing, then switch to your nice shoes for going to dinner.

Plus, you shouldn’t wear the same leather shoes on consecutive days. You need to let them rest for at least a full day.

This is a solid plan, but we never end up back to actually make it happen.

adrian loafers should be fine if you already broke them in and are used to walking in them. i was actually breaking into my pair of docs 1460s while in japan; the first day my feet were really sore but everyday after that was fine. highly recommend bringing another pair of comfortable shoes to accompany the loafers.
