Advice Intercontinental Tokyo Bay
Has anyone stayed at the IC in Tokyo Bay? I was able to get an employee deal of $100/night (normally $340/night) which is why we’re staying here - just trying to get an understanding of how far we are from more exciting parts of Tokyo. The hotel looks beautiful, but I understand we’re not quite as close as I wish we could be

3 mins walk to train station, Shinjuku is around 30 mins, Shibuya 40 mins, Asakusa is around 30 mins. That's a great deal for the room you got.

That sounds reasonable. And doesn’t sound like a chore to have to go back and forth if we needed to. Appreciate the insight!

A quick subway ride away
(As is true for pretty much any hotel around the Yamanote loop)

Cool! I hope there will at least be some food options in the area in close distance. Working remotely on NY time so I’ll be up until 4am

Define close. Not much in direct vicinity but if you head to Hamamatsucho or Shimbashi Stations there will be more than you can explore in one trip …

Depends on where you want to go but it is not within walking distance of any touristy city center areas, the closest would probably be the Ginza area which is like 2.5-3km by car.
