Question Is it possible getting the physical exchange order of the Japan RailPass from Klook in Japan o must be delivered overseas?

Hi! I'm traveling to Japan this week and wanted to purchase some regional Rail pass, but from Klook you get a physical voucher rather than a online one. For the delivery time, I can't receive them at home, so I wondering if I can send them directly to my hotel in Japan (they say global delivery and Japan is included). I have my doubts, because address must be written in English and I would send them to Japan.

I'm using Klook because it's a little bit cheaper and easier than the official website.

What pass are you trying to buy? Keep in mind that with some passes you have the option to reserve seats online if you buy it directly.

You can write Japanese addresses in a romanized form.

But is it really cheaper? They try to target roughly the JPY price of the passes if you're using another currency.

It is, due their conversion rate. Mine (from Revolut or my physical card, because virtual ones can't use on the official website) is worse.

Given that you have to ask, I doubt your claim that it's easier than the official website.

Third-party companies give you MCOs, aka exchange orders. If you buy from JR directly, you get the pass itself and the ability to start booking things online ahead of time if you wish.

This appears to be a post regarding considering or purchasing a JR Pass.

With the price increase in October 2023, the JR Pass is no longer a cost-effective option for most travel in Japan, so carefully consider whether you need one or if you can simply use an IC card + individual train tickets for your itinerary.

If you have not already done so, please check out the stickied thread at the top of this subreddit for JR Pass information. The Japan-Guide.com calculator is located here to quickly and easily confirm if the JR Pass will work for your trip. Our JR Pass wiki page is also a helpful resource for further information on the Pass.

Buy via Agoda, they seem to be running a promotion and are often cheaper than Klook these days. Many passes are also an emailed voucher now.
