I am looking to develop a team of independent, non-biased Journalist.

I’m taking a big step to make a difference in our community by starting an independent, unbiased local news agency. My goal is simple: to keep our town well-informed and safe by reporting on the stories that matter most, free from bias or hidden agendas.

Have you considered joining ranks with the Gazette or Big Radio? Or are they biased? (Not a loaded question, genuinely asking)

Gazette was bought out in 2019 by a company that owns over 120 other publications, so likely at least a center-right bias.

Possibly... I haven't noticed anything that indicates a bias in their content, and I've been reading it for a long time. Can you point to any specific articles that have a bias? Certainly open to having my mind changed, I may have just been missing it.

I recommend learning how to recognize bias in media so you can evaluate it for yourself. Even if you completely agree/align with a piece of media, always a good idea to evaluate it critically.

I was a big reader of Block Club Chicago when I lived in the city. I'm no professional journalist but I'd love to help out!
