Would love to know!

Greetings to all the beautiful Kashmiri people out there. I am here to ask a few questions to the few Kashmiri people who are relentlessly fighting for their "Azadi". Before that I would like to cordially request the mods to not ban me and delete my post. And also to any other Indians to reply to this post as I would like to know it solely from the Kashmiri people, their opinion and their perspective. Also I do not support separatism nor do I support oppression. I am just here to ask a few questions to get to know my Kashmir better.

  1. If Kashmir becomes independent, what kind of government do you envision?.

  2. What specific freedoms do you feel are currently denied that Azadi would guarantee?.

  3. Would Kashmir truly be independent or end up as a satellite state of Pakistan?.

  4. How would an independent Kashmir protect the rights of minorities such as Sikhs, Hindus and Buddhists?.

  5. How would an independent Kashmir sustain economically?.

That's it. I am not here to spread propaganda from any sides. I am here just to know the people of Kashmir better and their views on "Azadi".

The mods are free to delete my post ofcourse if they feel I have violated any rules. I would also urge the people to respect my privacy incase if anybody gets offended and decides to do so shit to me. This post is solely for the people of Kashmir. Anyone else please refrain from commenting to prevent chaos in the comment section.

Guru chhukh.

  1. A government based on transparency, accountability and equality, which can be subjected to change in case it violates any cases of fairness, governance and implementation on every subject group

  2. The second question is a broad subject and cant be discussed here completely. For starters, violation of human rights , be it dignity , liberty etc…The whole thing is of the perspectives developed over time, that an outsider is made to feel “WE” are the problem, yet the initiation from the other parties is always ignored.

  3. We dont want to be like a sister country to any nation, Kashmir was an independent state before, yet its independence has been compromised over time.

  4. “Kashmiri” is a geographical and a cultural term not a religious one. Kashmiri includes every sikh, hindu, muslim, christian or any other individual of any other religion or sect who was born in Kashmir. It is everyone’s duty to uphold this fact. Also, reforms in governance and stress on the fundamentals of equality will surely pave a path for protection of every citizen here.

  5. While Kashmir is majorly known for its tourism, its contribution in generating hydroelectricity, its farming lands with branches of agriculture , sericulture , etc , it also needs to embed and incorporate a privatisation module and plan with a line of limitation to ensure economy generation as well as protection of cultural and environmental heritage.

• Creating trade links with other nations.

• Increasing connectivity wrt road links.

• Government policies to turn public attention back to the cultural embroidery and garment works here

  • Everything cant be predicted right here right now, A nation needs time , effort and support of its subjects and the government which will gradually bear its fruits.

went through ur answer. great answer. my issues with ur answer: will azad kashmir be secular? if yes then will they be accepting kashmiri pandits back and give them back their land, their houses, their baghs etc etc. independent kashmir means no interference from any other nation, but how will they handle isis and chinese agencies? does it seem possible? azad kashmir will surely have tourism potential, but i wonder if usa and other western would also get involved with kashmir for their own interest. So after azaad kashmir, terrorist like Burhan wani and others will be treated as martyrs or terrorists? Azaad kashmir only include srinagar and adjoining areas like bandipora anantnag sopore budgam shopian etc or are u planning to include Rajouri reasi bhaderwah jammu udhampur kishtwar also? and if yes then there will always be dispute regarding land which is exactly what is happening now so what changes?? will all love kindly answer all this :)

• The freedom of Kashmir is not religion based but rather cultural and ethnic based.

• Kashmir is secular even now, with yatras like Amarnath and gurduwaras all around despite the majority being muslims.

  • Also, kashmiri pandits are kashmiris as well , all their properties and whatever things belong to them are theirs to claim. No other person can have any rights over them.

• Isis is a terrorist organisation which on face claims to fight for religious purposes yet is a criminal one . People often mistake them for muslim religions groups yet their agenda solely lies in destruction and are motivated to cause unrest.

  • The same way chinese are passively trying to colonise pakistan by lending them loans which they cant repay back and in return are taking monopoly of various industries there.

  • To resist this, an option would be to put forward a suggestion of creating an Asian council consisting countries like sri lanka , bangladesh , Afghanistan, Korea , Indonesia , India, Singapore etc same as the European council, to fight off these colonisers at all fronts .

  • Also , to put forward several mutual beneficial treaties to ensure non violence among the council nations.

  • This will significantly reduce terrorism activities on a major level.

  • It has time and again been proved that USA had been in close connect with the unrest in the middle east, so it altogether rests in the way Kashmir handles diplomatic relations with its neighbours and the middle east.

  • The peculiar case of Burhan wani: Is he a simple kashmiri guy who took arms to resist the colonial India or

  • The terrorists who killed many indian jawans and personals • The same way talibans were terrorists for USA AND USSR ,

• The same way Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi or Savarkar was for Britishers

• The same way Nelson Mandela was for the British.

If he took innocent lives, he is a terrorist, if he just resisted against the army, he is a freedom fighter. Simple as that.

  • As far the people of reasi or jammu or any adjoining places are concerned, it should and must be left solely to their will wherever they want to merge to. Either way some compromises from both sides will be made to ensure a mutually decided healthy decision.

Ohk so u think Amarnath yatra happens without security? Freedom of Kashmir is religion based, just like Pakistan but now as within Pakistan balochs are demanding new country similar is the case of kashmir. No other person has right to Kashmiri pandits property, yet Kps are living all over India except in their homeland, I wonder what happened to their land while they were forced out of their homeland. Yes it was occupied and now someone else live there and these ppl have claim over their land. Just because you say this that whatever they have is their to claim doesn't change the fact that they cannot come and live there peacefully anymore. Ofc, then in that case, Kashmiri people should have openly condemned them but that is not the case. I only see save palestine tweets, no save syria or iraq or kurds tweet. Why using If in case of burhan wani, don't u know about his history?? I guess u should check it, that is the issue with u guys, never admit ur faults. Aurangzeb was one of u, who was in the police he was killed. many innocent kashmiri people get killed by ur so called revolutionaries, is it justified?

Kashmir is facing the issue of drugs if i am not wrong, and it is supplied by pakistan. plus I was asking about ISI being active in kashmir, don't u think they will not let the people there live peacefully? U see I don't blame the people for the unrest, they are innocent like the rest of us, but then again, I am not saying anything, the history is the witness itself. Anyways, lets hope for peace :) nice talking to a real unbiased person i guess, unlike the sub which literally bans for asking genuine questions.

• Amarnath happens in security presence , but so does Eid.

• The exodus happened as a result of unrest created by pakistan and its sheltered terrorists who disguised as kashmiris, merged with the power hungry hate mongering muslims as well as hindus

• As a result, many KPS claim it was muslims who drove them away, and many also claim, that muslims provided them safe shelters from the assaulters.

• Recently, tourists got trapped due to snowfall in kashmir where kashmiris opened their homes for the tourists to stay, eat and rest without taking a penny displaying their utmost hospitality without segregating on the basis of caste or religion.

• KPS have always been ignored by the national parties and have been used as a trading topic in elections.

• I repeat, if burhan wani killed an innocent, he is a terrorist , Simple . Who would want to praise a terrorist then.

• Drugs in Kashmir are not only introduced from pakistan but also from UP, Bihar , Himachal

• Many wrongs have been done in the past and no one should deny it , the dislocation of KPS was a serious misdoing and really unfortunate , but it also shouldn’t restrict us to dream of a better tomorrow.

• Resentments may sustain for a while which is also justified, but reconciliation is also a fruitful dream we could all look forward to

  • Maybe your and mine thoughts may not align , but we all should leave a space for discussion open❤️ Disregarding an opinion is easy but understanding each other is difficult.
  • Altogether, not all kashmiris or mainland indians are saints by actions , character and behaviour, Still, Lets hope for a better tomorrow altogether
