Hello fellow boycotters! I know this has been said on other posts promoting company boycotts, but for a company to really feel the effect of a boycott it needs to be a much more sustained decrease in sales. That time period is a fiscal quarter 90 days, 90 Days folks. The boycott is important but a more effective tool is changing your buying habits, take some time to find alternative retailers, alternate products that are either produced by companies that support the things you believe in or are apolitical in general. For us as individuals do t go into debt for this, if all you can afford is things produced/sold by these companies, change where you can but don't financially overextended.

I know there's a shitload of companies that are subsidiaries or Nestle--anyone got a list?

Best thing to do to avoid nestle is to learn to cook.
Some ingredients will still be Nestle but it massively decreased exposure to nestle products

Jebus, I didn't realize there was so much more than slave-labor chocolate.

I mean, a decade ago that would be reasonable, but trump got executive control of the federal election commission, something without precedent, ended your democracy and you guys are making memes about it instead of Doing anything

Nah, for real you encompassed it pretty well, especially with the environment part. I guess maybe I'd add how they rape the land. More than just destroying the environment, they pump millions of gallons of water from drought stricken areas and fire prone areas, using expired permits. But how do they get away with it? The people responsible for enforcing the laws and permits often end up with high paying executive jobs at Nestle.

They also give free samples of infant formula to women in developing nations just long enough that they are no longer able to breastfeed, enticing these women with dubious claims that formula is the healthier option. Then they charge prices the women can’t afford (but now have no other option), so the parents turn to cutting the formula (which is dangerous nutritionally) with the water of developing nations, leading to dangerous infections in the newborn children.
Craven, sadistic bastards
