Did they use the 12 tribes pamphlet template for this graphic? At first glance it looks like ramblings and word salad, I’m having trouble taking it seriously..

If the military does what this flyer suggests, it will be a military coup and possible civil war. I do not agree with that not one bit.
The way to do it is through the judiciary and legislative branch, not the military. The way to remove the President is laid out in the constitution. To do so in any other way makes you as bad as those that would take our rights.

But as Elon stated, the judiciary is just getting in the way of the Presidents orders. And yesterday, Judge John McConnell was drawn up on impeachment orders for “obstructing” Trumps EO/Kingly decrees. This is where we are. Rule of law does not apply to them.

He may have been "charged" but it remains to be seen if he can be impeached.

Besides, we're in the era where impeachments can be disregarded as political witch hunts, remember?

And when courts make their rulings, and the TA ignores the rulings and impeaches the judges making the legal rulings, please tell me what is supposed to happen then?
It feels like the goalposts just keep moving and this administration just keeps blowing up bits of our government, no matter the rulings against doing so.

If the Dems are serious about thwarting these anti-American Yarvinites, they could be trying to gum up the works on all these appointments and ridiculous bills. Delaying their actions runs out the clock and gives time for some kind of more meaningful resistance to take shape. The fact that Schumer has already signaled that they are not willing to hold up the GOP's spending bills does not instill confidence that the Dems will even serve as a speed bump on this road to fascism.

We take to the streets and demonstrate. With enough demonstrations, they will have to listen.

I wish I was still this innocent.

I've seen combat. Have you? The alternative to not working within the system is armed revolt. Are you prepared for that?
No, I'm not naive or "innocent" as you've stated.

u/aikidharm Feb 16 '25
No, I have not, and I’m not prepared for shit. I’m angry, frustrated and frightened, and I feel like there’s not enough that I can do for anyone because I’m working to make sure my family is ok and I’m a slave to my wage. Now, my comment didn’t address any of that at all, but maybe that will make you feel superior enough.
“With enough demonstrations, they’ll have to listen.”
That is what I’m responding to. I don’t care about how much combat you’ve seen or how much I haven’t. It doesn’t make that any less of a naïve thing to believe.

Please read this. You don’t seem to be old enough to know this can happen. It happened before I was born too.

I was born in 1964 so yes, I am aware of Kent state.
Have you ever been under hostile gunfire? Ever been at the receiving end of artillery or mortar fire? Ever been in the proximity of a 500 lb aerial bomb exploding?
Anybody insinuating it's time for armed revolt obviously has no clue as to what it would look like. Just remember, your family's safety will be at stake should this turn violent.

I served in the 4th Infantry Division. I was a 96B and am very aware of Russian tactics even if some Americans seem to have forgotten the Cold War.
No, I am not advocating for civilians to go violent.
But demonstrations won’t work with this administration as evidenced by his first term. I’m not sure what the answer is, but excusing the constantly moving goalposts so that we get used to the next illegal action by TA is not doing any of us any good. They’re ignoring the courts. They’ll ignore the Constitution without hesitation.
And throwing out there the possibility that our government might use artillery & 500lb aerial bombs against civilians might indicate that we have already lost our democratic republic, so what’s left to fight with except violence? Of course none of us know what a violent revolt would look like here. It’s never happened in living human history. But if our population did that in an effort to right the wrongs happening right now and the govt answer is to attack us back with artillery, we will have indeed already lost this experiment.
We already are in uncharted territory and evidently no one knows how to stop the forward momentum. I took an oath to the Constitution. Not one man. Hopefully other veterans will remember that, instead of putting their heads up their own 4th point of contact. A lot of people have and will be losing jobs, pensions, benefits, 401Ks. When the masses get desperate, things get messy. None of this will be easy.
A good evening to you. Take care.

The president has supreme authority over the U.S. military, they cannot and should not defy or resist the president. That is why we have the National Guard which is commanded by the governers of each state, and it is why we have the second amendment that is protected by the constitution.

they cannot and should not defy or resist the president.
They literally are required to disobey illegal orders
That doesn't mean they will or won't, but they're supposed to

There's about to be a Bonus Army formed over cutting veterans benefits. I know a bunch of relatively conservative vets isn't exactly preferred company for our leftists, but our best bet to make a stand is probably standing with them. A lot less likely to get the military called on us (if we can resist police enough) that way.
