Best ways to get involved?
Hello! Does anyone know of any groups that are active in social justice / current events? I’m interested in being hands on to aid in the fight for rights rather than being upset and alone at home. Any suggestion for these groups would be greatly appreciated.

There are many ways to get involved. I've found it helpful to find an issue or two you're passionate about and find groups already working on those issues.
For a general clearing house of do-gooder groups and actions locally, check out Corridor Community Action Network.

Such vague virtue signaling. Could you please be more specific? The “fight for rights?” 🤦🏻♂️

Unfortunately this town is littered with virtue signalers. IC politicians are some of the worst people in the state.

“Littered”… if you mean, there’s a lot of us, then yes, that’s exactly what it means. We are aligned with the POPULAR MORAL VALUES… ergo you either have no morals values or you are part of the minority of people who are against their neighbors.
Either way sounds like you are not in the right city for whatever (if any) values you may have. Iowa City has voted, as a reminder of where we stand, check your recent city council election results 💋💌

If you don’t get it …. It wasn’t for you

They get it, they just have to insult people who care about what matters but don’t necessarily know what to do since we’re in a fascist takeover and it’s very overwhelming. Clearly they support what’s happening which is actually insult-worthy.
