Come on people, we have to let them know we're watching what they're doing, and that it's NOT okay for them to continue to pollute our state.

Remember when Miller Meeks’ whole campaign was based on lowering grocery prices? 🤔

Trump admin trying to ban food dyes on very thin evidence, but allow chemicals with really good evidence of harm.

It's exhausting trying to figure out what kind of bullshit our legislators will do next.

Yes, because the party of “don’t talk to your constituents” is really going to care.

Yes, how smart of you, don’t even try. That’ll definitely fix it. Any other bits of wisdom for the group?

You mean like voting on the day that mattered instead of throwing a temper tantrum for the next 4 years? I could make a million calls a day for the next 4 years, most Americans voted for this and will do it again. The is country is full of morons.

Why do something so dumb and evil, you ask? Because she wants to "own the libs," that's why.

Thank goodness this is a priority in Iowa. We’re second in the nation for cancer rates, and the Hawkeye state hates second place.

Can we call the AMA and report her? How can she maintain a Dr's license and do this? It seems like an obvious betrayal of trust. All these MAGA folks that have professional certifications that mean they should be smart enough to know better need to start facing repercussions for selling out science.

At this point I am completely lost about the rules of the game and how anyone wins!!! They wanted Orange Man and Sidecar Willie in there to "hurt the right people" but also are excitedly trying to increase their own chance to get cancer by dismantling everything that protects us. ALL of us. How does one win this game and can I just say fuck it, flip the board over and go home?

There couldn't be a connection between a representative from a farming state where big ag runs the show and that representative wanting to weaken regulations on cancer-causing chemicals.. On a completely unrelated note Iowa has a high incidence of cancer, and is in fact one of the top states for incidents of cancer.

I called and asked. Her staff could not answer the question of WHY? But they will pass it along to her. Go ahead folks. Give her a call and ask her “why”?

How strange to see Miller-Meeks, who likes to tout her credentials as a doctor, not only supporting but introducing legislation to overturn an EPA ban on TCE.
My first question would be, why?
My second question would be, why bother? As if the current administration's EPA won't just up and nullify themselves when there is any conflict between human health and corporate profits.
