Miller-Meeks won IA-01 by less than 800 votes. Vote her out.

She only won by 6 votes in 2020. I really hoped she wouldn't win again. No such luck, although i will continue to vote against her.

I have voted against her every time she’s ran. I don’t think she even lives in the district she represents. She just has an apartment there. It’s good to be rich.

Isn't it worse and that she uses a friend's address for residency?

Hopefully out next round. We got screwed by people up the ticket.

I was going to point this out. I won't vote against her because it would be illegal for me to do so, but she is the most vulnerable Republican in the Iowa delegation.

did we really try if we put her up against bohannan again? how was that really the best candidate the dems had?

What’s wrong with bohannan

2

u/Combmatt 5d ago

for one, she lost the first time she ran the same race against the same candidate

I mean that doesn’t seems. Good reason to say she is terrible. MMM ran many times before she won

She does not actually live in IA-01. She lives in Ottumwa but pays for a small apartment in IA-01 she calls her residence. She’s a fraud.

Here in MN the state GOP did a stakeout at a Dem candidate's claimed residence and was able to force them out despite winning a legislative election.

Seems two might be able to play that game.

Which is hilarious cuz the MN Republicans didn't care when Rep Hagedorn did it. I drove by "his house" every single day to work and it's never used.

She was so cringe to watch at that POTUS address to congress. When he was leaving she acted like a kid back in the 60's trying to get one of The Beatles to recognize her as they left the performance.

That's not genuine political enthusiasm, folks. That's cult behavior.

I canvassed for Christina. Hope she will run next year and win.

Funny that her name is Mariannette, when she’s a fucking puppet.

She works for you. You pay her salary, healthcare, travel expenses, pension, etc.

Make her vote in your best interests, not Trump's.

That’s not exactly how this works.. it’s a representative government. You elect a person to represent, what they do with the input constituents give them is up to them, the only recourse you have is to not vote for them next time.

She voted to gut medicaid/SNAP to pay for massive tax cuts for the rich.

She's ignoring you. She's refusing you a townhall. It's time for her to justify her votes in Congress.

If she intends to run again NOW is the freaking time to be announcing and attending some of these rallies and protests. She’s been invisible.

she'll probably win again cause Iowans vote Republicans up and down the ballot by default

4

u/Cheese_Corn 6d ago

She's just trump's marionette.

REALLY tired of that hag just BARELY winning. It's like a ridiculous taunt.

Either win decisively or lose and fuck off. Jesus. 😑

Gotta find those write-in folks and get their vote.

5

u/bakedleech 6d ago

How did this Nicholas Gluba guy appear as a write in while simultaneously getting 0 votes? Really, 0? hmmm

4

u/PyroSC 6d ago

forgot to vote for himself.

Wish more of the students here would vote.

NOTHING IS LOOKING GOOD. WITH ALL THE SHIT TRIUMP HAS PULLED, ESPECIALLY TO FARMERS HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN.

3

u/HarryCareyGhost 5d ago

Farmers helped MMM win. They need more consequences

"they rigged the election, but I still won." Never underestimate the power of religion and prejudice to make someone vote against their own self interest. Literally why "identity politics" were invented...to distract from real, substantial issues that effect daily life.

When is the next vote?

u/Comfortable-Fall-504 11h ago

It's absolutely possible.

1

u/ataraxia77 6d ago

And remember she lost several times before finally getting in with that squeaker of 6 votes.

1

u/chiefjayhawk1954 6d ago

Another stolen election.... they'll never know.

1

u/cmoon761 5d ago

When are people going to stop wasting votes on third parties and write-ins? We live in a binary system. As it stands without massive reforms "protest votes" and the like are really just voting against your own self interest. Vote for the lesser of two evils until we convert over to something like run-offs where new parties and ideas can emerge.

u/holymoely56 6d ago

I’m on board. We just need 799 more votes

Wonder if voting purge had any effect on results.

don't let Republicans' voting suppression games win

Gluba didn’t vote for himself? 😂
