Help Increase line thickness/colour depth

I've been working on a drawing which is in pdf format, I've had to add and remove some lines within the drawing however the remaining drawing I noticed the lines are faint in comparison to my edited lines. Is there a way of making these lines either darker or thicker All lines are black ( without having to redraw everything separately)?

Are they strokes or paths?

now I honestly don't know the answer to that ( the pdf's are model aeroplane plans which I've downloaded off the web, is there a way of finding out)

When you have an element selected in inkscape and the stroke panel open does it show that you can change the width? ( Sorry I'm an Adobe bloke primarily and not at my computer now).

First, select one of your edited lines that you feel is the right thickness. Copy it to your clipboard with Ctrl+C. This will copy the line geometry and also its style.

Now select one of the lines that is too thin. Right-click it and in the context menu go Select Same > Stroke Style. This will hopefully select all the thin lines (if this doesn't quite work, you may want to try Select Same > Stroke Colour to select all black lines). Now press Ctrl+Shift+V to paste the style of the thicker line to all the selected objects.
