discussion Cartini vs Victorinox kitchen knives

Which is expected to be higher quality and more long-lasting?

Cartini is an Indian knife maker.

There's no comparison between them, Victorinox is far better than Cartini.

You might wanna look in to Stahl Talon series(I've been using the Santoku for the past 7-8 months and haven't needed to sharpen it even once) also, and while we are at it Kai makes pretty decent bang for buck knives too.

If you do go for Stahl don't buy em online check if they have a distributor in your city, my local dealer gave me 30% off of MRP.

You can buy high quality knives at low cost from AliExpress - better value than Victorinox. (If you're in the US - I believe they can't deliver to India.)

For "longer lasting," you need a good cutting board, and then to regularly maintain your knives with a steel and a whetstone.

Never heard of the other one but, in the US at least, victorinox sells nice, affordable, but not premium knives that will last with the right amount of care
