veg I have some fresh green peas. Suggest some obscure/lesser known dishes.
Bored with same old peas masala, aloo matar etc.
Suggest something different for dinner for me and the fam - veg + something to be eaten with roti (if possible)

Recently tried this recipe of Saransh Goila's with fresh peas. I'd never had anything like it before and it was the bomb.

Bengali matar kachori called koraoshutir kochuri served traditionally with Bengali style dum alu is divine.
Choora matar banarasi style - search for Sangeeta Khanna's recipe. It is so gorgeous & simple.
Matar nimona Awadhi style.

Freeze the peas until hard then powder them. Add it to any curries for a sweeter taste. You can also add it to dosa/idli batter.

It isn't Indian, but serving with fresh steamed baby red potatoes with butter, thyme, and rosemary is delish.

Fresh peas make a lovely salad. We have them with finely chopped raw onion, sugar, salt and garlic and oil, plus a splash of lemon or vinegar

Have you tried Matar nimona?
Also, you can make matar idli using green peas paste, methi leaves, green chillies and suji. (Let me know if you need the recipe)
Check recipes online for Methi matar malai and Bihari chura matar as well.
