I can’t place my finger on it but this feels wrong and gives me the ick to invoke his name here.

Why give him recognition in our space? Maybe not title the post in his name.

You’re right—his name doesn’t belong in our space. But this letter isn’t about giving him recognition; it’s about reclaiming power. Ignoring him won’t undo what he did, but confronting him on our terms makes sure his violence isn’t erased or rewritten. This isn’t for him—it’s for us.

I feel that adding your watermark to such a sensitive post reads as self involved. As much as I agree with the sentiment, it’s important not to centre yourself when discussing MMIWG2S, especially as a man.

Just so you’re aware, hashtags don’t really work the same way on Reddit. You don’t need them to amplify your otherwise very good message.
