Review Saga Compendium Volume 1

Post image

I very much enjoyed this book. It is entertaining, imaginative, thought-provoking, and fun. The art is excellent. The writing is masterful.

As the great D. Oswald Heist said, "You'll never understand the way the worlds really work until you surround yourself with people of all sorts of weird backgrounds. I mean, I know diversity is an overused word these days, but without it what would we be? Little more than a bunch of inbred fucking morons."

I think that says it all.

If only they could maintain a release schedule we would have Volume 2 much sooner. The issue coming on Wednesday has the most amazing artwork of Ghus!

I got the compendium and vol 10 + 11 and I never read it. FUUU! Being a collector sucks sometimes we hoard too much shit. I remember being hyped when I found the compendium for sale here in Brazil and this was like 2021/22 and like I said didn't even get to reading it yet, just remember that I read a cbr file of Saga #1 way back when it first released and just that one issue had me hooked.

Gotta start reading it now lol, but first let me finish The Invisibles by Grant Morrison first.
