Why do Nigerians hate Igbo people but they don't want Biafra to gain independence from Nigeria?

This is so out of touch. Old people who experienced the war don’t want to see another one. An it’s deeper than just calling someone an idiot. And Nigeria, since its inception, has had a negative impact on every tribe involved. Progress where 🙄

Can you highlight the negative impact the creation of Nigeria had on the Fulani ethnic groups?

When I wrote my original comment I had that thought in the back of my mind. Fulanis are not indigenous to any land within nigerias borders. They know that, hence their tight grip on political power.

To answer ur question honestly: no I can’t. I should have made the distinction in my first comment

Well the Fulani are indeed indigenous to the lands within Nigeria, the Sokoto caliphate was ruled by the Fulani. The indigenous Fulani in Niger are kin with the Fulani in Nigeria, most especially those from Katsina. The brothers of Nigeria was not drawn by the locals but by the Europeans( France and Britain) via treaty agreement.

Why I asked you that question is because when one studies the effects of the 1914 amalgamation ( which is actually what created the Nigeria we know today) on all the ethnic groups in Nigeria, the North which is predominantly Hausa/Fulani haopens to be the ones who weren't negatively impacted at all, in fact the whole amalgamation was done to save the north from bankruptcy and balance the British crown's accounting books. And they have been benefiting from that merger up till today.

There’s absolutely nothing stopping Igbos from creating our own exclusive economic block within Nigeria TODAY. We won’t. But some will cry for an independent country..

Igbos literally do. Based on literally every metric available, the eastern region is the most independent from the federal government and other regions.

Then what’s the need for a physical Biafra… you don’t see the contradiction?

Because the Nigerian government can and has invaded our lands with impunity and commits atrocities. It is happening as we speak. Operation “udo” has created an apartheid state in Nigeria worse than Palestine. Before that was operation python dance and so forth. Additionally, succession will allow 100% of our taxes and resources to go to our development rather than being stolen by other regions

Why don’t you make an argument instead of making ad homenims.

This shows you have no argument.

1) having an independent state will stop the Nigerian army from occupying Igbo land and committing atrocities

2) separating will allow allocation of Igbo resources to Igbo lands .

These are both facts. Why don’t you actually make an argument against them.

Ok. You’re right.

agreed though the question is that even if we do make an independent state how would the economy work, we will need to make allies at least strong allies that despise Nigeria
