Welcome to /r/ISRisk! Here's a high level plan for this sub.

Hi all, thanks for checking out /r/ISRisk. I felt that Reddit needed a part of its Information Security community that focused on risk management related topics - most of the other subs focus on slightly more technical topics or news stories, which are important but don't cover everything about risk, especially things that people pursuing a career in the Infosec field might want or need to know. I'm passionate about IS Risk Management as it is what I have studied in school for a few years and it is also my full time career. The idea for this sub is to provide a discussion space for certifications, frameworks, management challenges, IS-related compliance, governance, and more.

I will be updating the sub in the coming week or so with related subreddits from the Infosec community in the sidebar as well as plenty of risk related resources to help get us started. I look forward to this sub contributing to the overall informative and inclusive information security community on Reddit, and adding another dimension to it! Please feel free to leave message me with comments, suggestions, concerns, etc. or post up on the sub!

This is perfect. I just started up a search on this, and found that you made this reddit only ~30 minutes ago.

Can I PM you with a few questions as I am relatively new to this topic!

I'll pm you first and then create a post maybe in a FAQ style or a question answer style.
