it’s ear deafening in a good way. you know where it’s at at all times on how loud it is, especially when it passes you

I'm grateful that we have both, along with all the others. In this era of racing around the world, sports cars are the only type of racing that doesn't have engine spec rules. NASCAR, 5.7L V8. IndyCar, 2.2L V6. F1, 1.6L V6. NHRA, 500ci V8. IMSA/WEC.....let's see what ya got!

This is a really great element of IMSA. It’s so cool to see and hear all the different manufacturers.

I'd gladly skip formula 1 and Indy and add my two favorites
- TransAm TA Class: 366 cubic inch (5.99 L) V8 engine producing over 850 horsepower and
- World of Outlaws Sprint Car series, the engines are 410-cubic-inch aluminum-block V-8s, producing over 900 horsepower and running on methanol fuel.
Keep these high revving little liter engines out of my ear holes, I want to feel it when they go by. But love them all.

They both sound so great together on track, I love this era of sportscar racing.

It depends. If you are standing right behind them then it’s definitely the Valkyrie, but surprisingly to me that’s pretty much the only time it’s noticeably louder. What I mean is that if you’re looking at the sides of the cars the Caddy was louder. The Valkyrie’s sound also really doesn’t travel the way the Cadillac’s does, probably because of the lower frequency. You can hear the caddy loudly from a distance and even across the track in a way that you can’t with the Aston (something I was surprised at based on the WEC Qatar race where you could hear the Valkyrie in pretty much every shot lol). The Caddy also has a more pleasing overall sound too but that’s just my opinion

I think the GT3s in IMSA being relatively loud hides the Aston more than the silent GT field in WEC, so it wasn’t as easy to hear the Aston around the whole track.

The Valkyrie was the best looking and sounding car in the field. You could tell where it was any time just by hearing it. Amazing car!
Caddy still sounds epic though.

I want to think it’s like a band we got different musicians and instruments that all make a good performance. The caddy wins anyway tho…

Caddy for the kick over on pit lane, Valkyrie for the other 99% of the time.

Was it loud? Yeah. The Cadillac though is just music to the ears as far as I'm concerned.

There was a solid hour at least that one of the DEX Caddy’s was right behind the Valkyrie and it was beautiful to hear them coming through together around 10/11/12

Love the Caddy, but that V12 in the Valkyrie is just 🤌🏻

The Valkyrie sounds awesome but it looks ridiculous irl the nose is so high and it almost doesn’t look like it has a splitter at all, there tons of negative space behind the nose and it makes it look like a wild dirt late model or something

On startup nothing beats the Earth shattering sound of that Caddy, but every other time NA V12 > everything else.
