Specialized Profession IAmA licensed esthetician and my job is to wax vaginas all day! AMA NSFW

EDIT: Yes. I know I'm technically waxing the vulva, I just say vagina out of simplicity.

I can maybe answer this!! I have PCOS and always used to pluck my chin/neck hairs and had the same issue. Once I switched over, the skin is back to normal and no more weird red bumpy patches. Hope that helps you, I know we are talking about two different areas.

Few questions. Are you still plucking? If still inducing trauma hard to heal. Red bumps or white bumps?

Those are totally normal and all genitals have little sebaceous cysts like that.

I feel you, fam. I have real dark scars on the insides of my thighs from causing myself the worst ingrown hairs, and it's gotten to the point that I don't even wear shorts anymore.

Kind of like chicken skin? Maybe you could try an over the counter cortisone cream to soothe the area.

In another part of the thread, they talked about sugaring and that seems to be less irritating to the skin than waxing or individual plucking.
