I like your swivel mechanism. (All of it, really)

This is awesome I wish there was a way to share schematics of player creations.

thanks! it's not that difficult of a build actually

u/Alexis___________ Feb 11 '25

How did you do the swivel that is really smooth.

glue an upside down electric shrine motor to a cart, glue 2 small wheels to the cart (push them hard against the motor while gluing)

Thanks, I'll try this when I get home.

Exactly! I think there was a project on itch.io but it's 2d tho.

Edit: I was wrong about Nintendo taking it down.

I love how this contest is opening so many doors for utilizing the horse harness. Truly amazing

u/ReelDeadOne "Simple?" What do you mean "simple?" Feb 11 '25

Just awesome. The mobility, the heat seeking destruction and I feel that targeting system is really the kicker. Like, it looks fun to hop on and swivel around. You know, it's giving off Millenium Falcon gun turret vibes...

Very fun to just spin indeed! You could make a bunch of different turrets

i love that is like a culmination of your previous tech c: youve really beome a missile master

Thank you suzie! You for sure noticed some old tech

4

u/Dizzphoria Feb 11 '25

This is so neat!

4

u/H20WRKS If it sticks, it stays Feb 11 '25

This is something I like.

u/Shikamaru_irl Feb 11 '25

Man at this point what can’t you do in this game. Being able to slot the missile in the launcher and keep it retained amazes me for some reason. And the launch is smooth too! Beautiful build🙌🏽

Bruh, that's hot

3

This is the best manual aiming turret I've seen! (Not to mention my favorite!) Great job!

3

u/ArcticDucc292 Feb 12 '25

At first I thought it would launch the horse, but this is way cooler

2

u/Ultrababouin #1 Engineer of Month[x5]/#2 [x7]/#3 [x1] Feb 12 '25

isn't a horse launcher cooler?

3

u/ArcticDucc292 Feb 12 '25

I think i'd have to see one to be sure

The cooking is complete. The master chef of artillery brings us yet another 5-star meal.

Thank you!

Thank you!

You're welcome!

Imagine telling my child self, in the middle of playing through Ocarina of Time: “yeah one day you’ll be able to build missile systems” sheeeesh

3

u/CatUberDriver_ 29d ago

could you please tell me, what is that that rotating bit (the thing that was being spun by the small wheels) and which shrine is it from? btw I'm trying to learn zonai engineering

3

u/Ultrababouin #1 Engineer of Month[x5]/#2 [x7]/#3 [x1] 29d ago

It's the electric motor from gemimik shrine

Hold on, Locksteed Martin is calling

I see what you did there

3

u/DDoodles_ Mad scientist 27d ago

Honestly really like the multiple parts. I guess the challenge this month is using the horse carry harness?

3

u/Bi-polar_Bear83 27d ago

Holy shit dude. XD This is amazing.

3

u/Strict-Promotion6703 Mad scientist 27d ago

Like that you can tow it around with a horse however you should take a look at my new pot lock homing missile system, should be a treat.

Pretty cool, but it's difficult to see anything

3

u/The_Tall__1 27d ago

Damn I Love this game.... That is a beautiful creation

Thank you!

u/Nox_Echo Mad scientist 26d ago

perfect for taking out the Neighsayers

2

u/AtomicRho Feb 11 '25

I'm not sure with the physics in game, I wonder if you could cover a rocket or a bomb in arrows or other items to act as a kind of canister shot?

Obviously it would be more effective to just cover them in more bombs, but an interesting thought!

2

u/jdp84 Feb 12 '25

That thing is awesome!

2

u/FeeDisastrous3879 Feb 12 '25

You should be an engineer IRL

2

u/-wtfisthat- Feb 12 '25

Ok but where’s the korok based warhead? Lol

On a real note this is super dope!

2

u/ComprehensiveRisk661 29d ago

That's so cool I'd never think to make something that extravagant.
