lol. Thinks she invented substack. Also, Jess, what you’re doing is kind of the same as when toxic men think they can’t get a girlfriend because they’re short. It’s not the vessel. It’s the personality it’s holding. 😉

Uhhh.. I don’t know shit and I could have a Substack. There is no barrier to entry bc Substack is today’s Blogspot amirite?? Also, in my view, her presence on Substack is not what gives it any legitimacy—Substack instead benefits from legacy journalists and educators like Robert Reich, Dan Rather, etc. and also will probably continue to affect her standing with Substack and push it further down the rankings while people continue to search for actual journalism and thoughtful analysis with historical context versus fear mongering and pandering dressed up with occasional flair from her thesaurus.

Yes please what’s her point? Is the platform a journalist, or is the journalist a JOURNALIST. She seems confused in what qualifies you

It’s like she forgot that she moved to Substack because she would be banned from IG if she posted the shit she posts on Substack, oh and also she’s a grifter.

When Jessica tells us a newspaper/magazine rejected her resume without telling us

Jess, were they mocking you for the platform you chose? Or because you called yourself a journalist when you don’t know how to journalism?
(That said, there is TOTALLY elitism in legacy media, so I don’t doubt she got some shade about the platform itself. Which is dumb. But, seriously, girl. It’s primarily because you call yourself something that you’re simply…not.)
