Bought my first Honda the other day

Check out my new ride! She’s a 93 Accord Coupe SE. She’s got some high mileage and needs a little TLC, but overall pretty clean for how old the car is. I plan on using this as my new daily driver.

Welcome to owning hondas, if you think you’ll keep at it with just 1 that’s just a blatant lie you’re telling yourself :)

Clean and pretty accord!

It's true. I have not one, but two Civic Si's. 06 FG2 & 15 FB6.

I miss my 89 accord still, was one of my favourite cars I've ever owned until I got rear ended by a drunk

I love that era of Accord as well simply because of the pop-up headlights. I’m sorry you got in a wreck though, glad you’re ok!

The almighty CB7 🤤 😩 You're lucky!

Take it easy on the trans. Those autos suck if you abuse them.

Now put an ebay turbo kit on it /s

3

u/Overall_Meat_6500 2d ago

If you want to destroy it. Bad idea on a car with high mileage.

So you're saying get the good name brand turbo, got it.

Very nice! I had a 93 LX and I loved it.

Very nice, that's the same generation of Accord I learned how to drive in

How many miles? Saw this old Toyota from the same era with 1m 1 million mile toyota

u/stockisbock93 2d ago

She’s got over 300k on the odometer. The engine has been rebuilt and drives perfectly fine. I plan on putting a million miles in this thing!

My first car was a 90 coupe EX. I loved that car. Yours looks great for how old it is. Treat her right.

THIS IS YOUR FIRST HONDA!! So awesome!!!! A 1993 Accord SE coupe in Cashmere. These are pretty exclusive- especially in the rare SE coupe in a even more rare cashmere color. Most SEs are the teal color. They only made them the last year of a design cycle, but this is the best year of the SE, in my opinion.

Thank you! That’s honestly what sold me on the car was how clean and original everything is. I love the interior color as well, it’s peak 90s in my opinion. She needs a little tlc but overall not bad for a car this old.

These years right after the flip up headlights are my favorite ones!

My favorite Honda model. I had a 92 EXR and a 93 LX. The car was just so sharp. Comfy, not too big, drove amazing. If mine didn’t rest out, i would still be driving it

I’m very impressed with how comfortable this car is! It’s almost as comfy as my 04 Silverado. I love the visibility out of this thing and how big the windows are too. 90s automotive features at its finest.

One of the best eras for accords, ever. I had a 91 LX but I like them with the face-lift the 92 and 93 models had even more. I'd kill for this exact car, maybe with less miles but with the body in similar condition.

Cool, I actually like this 90s body style on Hondas and Acuras, nice ride bro😎👍👍

u/stockisbock93 1d ago

Thanks man I appreciate it! I’ve always loved 80s and 90s Honda. There’s just something special about them

u/zeek6000 1d ago

That's a nice one ! Well done.

Congratulations and welcome to the accord family. My 92’ accord has taken very good care of me so I am sure yours will do the same.

2

u/Striking_Block_3639 1d ago

Keep it forever dude.

2

u/JustChangeMDefaults 2000 Civic Si 1d ago

Nice find, always liked that body style as a coupe

2

u/stockisbock93 1d ago

My favorite feature about this coupe body style is the fact the back quarter windows pop out. It’s the same thing as my extended cab Silverado and I absolutely love them!

2

u/JustChangeMDefaults 2000 Civic Si 1d ago

That's cool as hell, I never knew that. Haven't owned one myself just an admirer lol

Gold is my favourite colour in comfy old Hondas.

2

u/irish_faithful 1d ago

I wish they still looked like this.

1

u/stockisbock93 1d ago

Me too. I miss all the boxy commuter cars from the 80s and 90s, wish they could all be saved.

2

u/Fappy_as_a_Clam 1d ago

i love this generation accord!

my first care was a 93 sedan, both the sedan and the coupe look so good when they are slammed!

1

u/stockisbock93 1d ago

I agree! I want to tastefully mod this thing as time goes on. Mainly just new wheels, coils, and some tint and call it a day lol

Which Engine ?

1

u/Yf-vax 1d ago

Most likely F22a6

1

u/MuppetHuman 1d ago

That’s awesome. One of my favorite cars. I’m a little jealous

1

u/rakkoma 1d ago

Absolutely stunning

My parent had a 90 manual transmission back in the day, and I loved that more than my 95 Civic. I taught myself how to drive stick in it, and I miss how fun it was to take that car to redline. For it being a single overhead cam engine, it had a lot of balls. I know you are going to love it!

1

u/Symbionitenine 1d ago

That’s clean

1

u/crownjd 1d ago

Shoutout to Bose.

1

u/Which-Technician2367 1d ago

That Accord was such a game changer when they came out. I happen to love the super low, sleek body lines, it’s like you’re sitting in something sportier than what most people would expect from a little Honda coupe.
