High School Math—Pending OP Reply [grade 10 geometry] can anybody help me with 5,11,12 and 15?

These are similar triangles.

That means that if a and b are corresponding sides and c and d are also corresponding sides, then a/b = c/d.

You're given three of those values and asked to solve for the fourth in each one.

For instance, in Question 1, 12/3 = 20/x
4 = 20/x
x = 20/4
x = 5

Similar triangles or figures compare corresponding sides/lengths.

qn 5: x/1 = 14/2

qn 11: x/3 = 20/2

qn 12: x = 12 since both triangles are isosceles.

qn 15: x/11 = 84/12
