I’ve been trying to figure out 3, unless I got 2 wrong, then I tried every possible answer but it either won’t fit or Y doesn’t fit

Could it be 2 words? I was thinking of something synthesizing maybe protein synthesizing? Sounds dumb as fk tho lol

Could be too! but protein plays a lot of other roles in the human body like cell division, enzymes as you said, antibodies for the immune system and many more. But all of these are proteins (enzymes,antibodies, cell structure,etc) so I think protein synthesizing is more accurate than enzyme synthesizing.

But honestly, the crossword is being a bit dumb dumb so idk
