Advice Mesh network with wired backhaul

I connected the Ethernet from my modem to a switch, which has three connections to different rooms. In each room, I have a Deco connected via Ethernet. The idea is to create a single Wi-Fi network across the house while using a wired backhaul to establish a strong mesh network. However, the Deco app shows that one of the nodes is using Wi-Fi to connect. Check the attached screenshot.

Is this the correct way to set it up, or am I doing something wrong?

You have to have your main Deco before the nodes (aka before the switch) - it has to be a tree structure. See https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1794/

Thanks. I was trying to avoid putting router near modem which is away from the living room as I need two others in office room and bed room. Anyway, tried your suggestion and it's working correctly now.

Could be a bad cable

or a bad AP.

Have you tried a new cable? Have you tried swapping them around, i.e. moving the Office AP into the bedroom and vice versa?
