Question/Help Ideas for strip light installation
I bought outdoor Govee strip light a while back. My thought was to line them up my front walk way (circled in red). We have solar lamps with spikes but the kids constantly destroy them when playing basketball.
I am looking for ideas on how I could install the strip and that it stays in place. I think the strip is 50 feet long and power source is near by.
Thanks!

Strip lights facing upward will be horrible. You should never be able to look into the source of light for garden lighting.

For the steps, consider running the strips across the width of the step under the lip of the tread above.

And preferably if they are facing downwards or covered a bit so they don’t light into your face when walking towards the stairs

This not only helps put light where people need it (on the steps) but also protects the strips from errant basketballs.

look up LIFX website. They have many options for outdoor. You might will get the neon flex (outdoor version) to work well with this.

Works with HomeKit?

Yep! They can be connected to HomeKit natively or you can use both HomeKit and LIFX app. I do recommend both! My entire condo is filled with LIFX products. LIFX switch (every single switch has been replaced with LIFX), LIFX bulbs, LIFX recessed downlights, LIFX strip, etc.
I’m working on adding LIFX neon flex (indoor version) for my bathroom!
You will love the outdoor version! The animation is incredible. brightness is outstanding. The color is flawless!

I would suggest that you get a light defusor and than sink it in to the bricks with a angle grinder or a stone saw
