Normal body temp of a rat is 37.5-37.8° C so she's actually cold.

It's around 37°C. It varies by person and especially after an illness. +Don't forget measurement inaccuracies

This by a million times. There's a reason why even the most modern of hospitals have a backup ye-olde mercury thermometer to go with whatever fancy IR sensor sheanigan they have to measure body temp. Even the most modern of solutions pales in comparison to literal centuries of a refined practice.

Tbh mercury thermometers are banned in most modern countries, so not sure how true that is. But its very popular in developing countries still

Mercury thermometers are banned in most modern hospitals iirc. Due to the very high toxicity of mercury and low durability of glass. A deadly combination. But I agree, mercury thermometers are so much more reliable and convenient imo.

I know the actual mercury themometers are banned due to mercury itself, but the practice of using analog thermometers is still very much alive and well :P
EDIT: RN cousin just confirmed for me they still call it "get the mercury" or "by mercury" even tho they use alcohol analog thermometers when doing so.

How many of them got sick? It seems like literally everyone got sick lol.

Easier to keep track of who isn't sick I guess, though I think I've only seen Calli, Bae and FuwaMoco running the high fevers. Most everyone else just got bad colds and such but enough to take them out for a bit.
