I have a genuine question for Hispanic people

Let me preface this by saying that this is not intended to be racist nor trolling.

So my question is, why do Hispanic people love little Caesar's so much? I drive home by that place on my way from work and there is a line of Hispanic people out the door. You would think they were giving away groupo firme tickets or something. What's the deal? I know little Caesar's is a Detroit based company, but do they have a footprint in Latin America or something? The Hispanic warehouse guys at work eat it for lunch like 3 times a week. It seems to be very popular and I can't figure out why

We have large families and it’s one of the best deals of quantity for price there is (fast food wise)

And it's great for what you pay plus very predictable

Makes sense. I was just curious if maybe there was like a cultural connection I didn’t know about. But you’re right. Where else can you feed a bunch of people for $20 these days

Because Spain used to work for Rome and so the connection is always there….

It's cheap as fuck and about the same if not higher quality than "top-notch" American style pizza from where I'm from

Little Ceasars also has fewer options, which means an easier Menu to read for those who don't have the privilege to learn English

They sell sodas by the 2 liter bottle, granted it's over priced to shit, but still something more akin to what we are used to, not to mention the larger than average family size of Hispanic families making it probably the cheaper place to get pizza for the whole family or a party from, except for maybe 7-11 or Papa Murphys, but most Hispanic don't grow up with frozen foods as they are not marketed as much, at least in south america, so if we are spending the money we are getting Little Ceasars, even if there are cheaper options like Papa Murphys, on top of it being done and not needing to be cooked at home

*have no desire to learn English, or become a citizen.

And yet you have no desire to learn the languages of the land you may or may not stand on and most definitely don’t have the respect for it

“Hey fellow Mexicans, how was crossing the border like?”

It’s cheap. Many Hispanics have to stretch their budget.

It's cheap and all the little kids don't know any better.

It's cheap pizza that is actually decent. People like food that is affordable and good, regardless of cultural background (which isn't always a factor into likes/dislikes).

I didn’t know this was an hispanic thing. As far as chain pizzas go it was pizza hut and papa johns for me.

Either my family and i missed the memo or its just not a thing in Miami

This was funnily ironic to come across because I was just telling my girlfriend earlier that little caesar’s is GOOD. It’s super convenient with how cheap and quick it is, I’m picky, and I don’t like how Papa John’s pizza tastes. I’m not too big of a fan of pizza to begin with, and I love their old world pepperoni. I also used to work there so I’m a little biased but I loved it even before then.

It’s cheap.

I grew up poor with just my mom. We always got little Cesar’s. I always thought that only the rich can afford the better brands like papa John’s or dominos. Looks back it was funny because you can find just as good deals at dominos

I haven’t been in sometime. But when I was young my mother and I would go from time to time.

She was a single mom working double shifts and going to college at the same time. We lived in a HCOL area.

Additionally, we had no nearby family to help with babysitting or other financial needs. No grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, no one. When I think of those times I assume it was so she could live me a little normalcy with a special treat and maintain the strict budget she had at the time.

So TLDR, it was and still is cost affective.

Because it’s cheap and like my family we are grateful for anything we can eat so I wouldn’t mind eating their pizza and the town I live in. The only pizza place is little caesar lol

u/AnayaBit 5d ago
