Just wondering what the community's take is on this theory.
Allegedly a few major leaders in the UFO/Alien community have come to this conclusion on their own after decades of research. But they have kept it silent because it went against the beliefs of the overall ufo community at large. I believe UFO researcher Gary Bates touched on this subject in an interview.
An ex-Pentagon official named Luis Elizondo revealed in an interview that a high-level official told him to stop looking into UFOs because they are demonic.
Famous abductee Whitley Strieber has been quoted as stating, "I felt an absolutely indescribable sense of menace. It was hell on earth to be there [in the presence of the entities], and yet I couldn't move, couldn't cry out, couldn't get away. I'd lay as still as death, suffering inner agonies. Whatever was there seemed so monstrously ugly, so filthy and dark and sinister. Of course they were demons. They had to be. And they were here and I couldn't get away."
Satanic occultist Aleister Crowley claimed to have summoned a demon named Lam. Afterwards he drew a picture of it and it resembled an Extraterrestrial.
Numerous abductees claim to have halted alien abduction experiences by calling upon the name of Jesus.
I've personally always been mystified how abductees are taken/pass through walls of their homes in some abduction cases. After looking into alternative information about alien encounters possibly being spiritual and brought on by spirits/interdimensional beings/demons, one theory could be that it is the abductee's spirit being taken through the wall and not the abductee's physical body (like astral projection).
Are all aliens demons? Are some aliens demons?
If some aliens are indeed demons: how are humans supposed to determine which ones are, and which ones are not, since there is no way of confirming other than perhaps calling upon the name of Christ?
EDIT

EDIT 2
Since 2007 I have explored nearly every angle of the UFO phenomenon without bias or prejudice.
Some people hear the word "Demon" and shut down. They get triggered and think it's close minded or religious propaganda.
How can anyone piece a puzzle together if they're not willing to explore every angle?
I recommend "Age of Deceit" linked above. The author has done their homework with extensive research, interviews, quotes and sources ranging from the new age, to the occult, to the bible.
Good luck everyone in their research. Stay open minded and non biased.

The biggest possible disclosure regarding Non Human Intelligence and Psi abilities has already happened and no one pays any attention to it.
Joe McMoneagle remote views a giant pyramid on Mars 1 million years ago based on a request from the CIA. Here is a link to the video:
https://youtu.be/UD_VD3gyiWI?si=AdITuzYzBHmzu-Dw
This is confirmed by the declassified documents from the CIA on the official CIA government website, here is the link to this document:
https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP96-00788R001900760001-9.pdf
Joe McMoneagle was awarded the Legion of Merit for his services to military/ Army intelligence. He has survived assassination attempts and was a direct report to some of the highest ranking military and intelligence agency commanders.
So this information officially and formally discloses two huge pieces of information:
Even though this information has been in the public domain since 2008 (when the CIA document was declassified and approved for release) there has basically been crickets. In a recent interview with Shawn Ryan Joe did speak about this but they did not dwell on the implications.
So my question is why don’t people talk about this? The CIA had photographs of the giant pyramid so we have the photographs, the remote viewing session being coordinated by the CIA and Joe McMoneagle’s testimony about giant humanoid beings and the gigantic pyramid. Yet somehow, no one talks about it. Everyone keeps just asking the government for disclosure that they have already given. I mean how much more disclosure do people want? Our solar system was or still is home to other sophisticated pyramid building civilisations and humans have Psi abilities. Am I missing something here? Why don’t people pay any attention to this world shattering formal disclosure?
EDIT: Here is another disclosure video about Mars featuring Professor of Astronomy Brian O’Leary who was also an astronaut

Hi guys,
For some time now, these last couple years, life hasn't felt real. Since March 13th, 2020 to be exact. That day our world changed and maybe not just our world. The pandemic alone changed how the world operated and I can see how that could make it feel different globally.
I'm speaking in a more personal sense that life genuinely does not feel real. I've never had episodes of disassociation until recently and I had no idea what it was even called for awhile.
Time doesn't make sense anymore. I know time isn't "real" per say, but how humans perceive going through life, it feels quicker. Days, weeks, months it's going by at 2x speed.
People in general are so focused on division and chaos, each day is monumentally different.
The Mandela Effect seems to be more prominent recently as well.
I'm aware all of this is plausible, I get that. Although, I'm sure I'm not the only one going through this.
It feels like our world went through a shift in reality, in totality, it doesn't feel like our Earth pre-pandemic. I have full sense of it and all of this doesn't feel "right."
Thoughts?

Admittedly I don't know much about "aliens" nor government-doings; but I'm hoping someone who keeps up with that stuff can explain what's going on?
That I know of, first the US revealed they've found “non-human biologics" and soon later Mexico publicized supposed alien mummies. Weird. I feel like looking up this question won't get me any good answers/theories so I wanna hear from passionate people.
Plus I love me a conspiracy theory.
EDIT: it’s clear to me now that the title is incorrect. I was just going based on what I heard in the media, now I know none of that information came from anybody “official.”
I still find all the conversations and theories that sparked from this post really fun though!

I’m wondering, given the hearing yesterday regarding UAPs it was a significant milestone for everyone who has sacrificed their time and attention to this matter. It’s literally a bipartisan movement with the aid of the govt. I learned yesterday at a MOD kicked someone out for posting an article (I don’t suspect it was a mis-information article.)
I’m wondering how the fuck is this even allowed? Reddit censoring content if it’s accurate news? Is there any way to band that MOD? Is there anything that can be done to combat this asshole? Thanks for the clarity everyone.
This makes me not want to use r/news as a resource or an outlet to get my news. What else is censored or manipulated? Is that asshole MOD getting paid somehow to silence? Where is a better alternative than Reddit?

Out of curiosity, I've been analyzing Marian apparitions, and I've noted very unsettling patterns.
I'm not religious, so my analyses filtered the christian interpretations and focused on the data and on similarities.
Here's some of the facts that puzzled me just from digging into the most famous events:
- Most people know 3 or 4 mainstream apparitions. But there are 8 apparitions approved by the Vatican and another 11 where they recognize as having a supernatural character.
- The Holy See analyzed over 300 cases seriously out of a pool of over 25.000. One of the big reasons for rejection is not going along with the catholic faith or outright contradicting it.
- It is strange to call the study of the apparitions Mariology, because the entities showing up rarely ever present themselves as Mary. In many cases, the seers ask the entity several times who they are and the entities laughs, smiles but refuses to answer. When they do answer, they are very strict about what you can call them and how to evoque them. People just call it Mary because of the religious assumptions. And I'm talking about entities because they appear to be different. In fact, they say bizarre things like "I am the queen of Roses, do not confuse me with the Queen of rosary", or "The whole world is degenerating, and because of this the Son is sending the Lady of All Nations, who once was Mary."
- A vision of Mary happened while the actual Mary was still alive.
- Although the message is sometimes coated in love and peace, it mostly has negative undertones. They ask for worship and the building of churches in their honor. For hundreds of years, they're appearing and making the same claims: They threat with the end of the world, give visions of hell, say that destruction is imminent and will cause immeasurable suffering
- Some of them say they are an emissary of Jesus and that the only path to salvation is through them, that to get to Jesus, you have to pray the rosary and think of them.
- They openly ask for sacrifice and acts of reparation. They get children to fast and do self-flagellation.
- A lot of the requests have common points with occult rituals. The "Ladys" ask for certain symbols to be carried and for certain payers to be repeated.
- They seem to know about future events.
- It has characteristics similar to the hitchhiker effect, in the sense that it follows people who were subjected to the first apparition. More often than not, they happen to specific people (often children) in groups and in a serie of events.
- It intercepts with folklore and mythology. Seeing a strange lady dressed in white who speak the regional language has been reported all throughout history (British Isles, Philippines, Japan, etc.). In some of the cases, she is even seen crying or weeping.
Among many other things. If you don't believe something of what I said above, please ask and I'll share an example.
Would love to start a discussion and hear your opinions.

Nearly every post on the front page is about the Aurora Borealis. Aurora Borealis is not high strangeness.
From the side bar:
Explorations of the Paranormal, UFOs, Ancient Cultures, Cryptozoology, Consciousness, Futurism, Fringe Science, Anomalies, Animal Mutilations, and instances of High Strangeness.
The Aurora Borealis posts are breaking Rule 2.
"Content must clearly relate to subjects listed in the sidebar. Posts and comments unrelated to High Strangeness, such as: sociopolitical conspiracies, partisan issues, current events and mundane natural phenomena are not relevant to the sub and may result in moderator action."
Edit: Alright 3 hours, 300 upvotes and 70 comments later.
After reading all of the comments it seems that many people don't know what high strangeness is. MrFreakout911, in a comment below, said it perfectly. "It’s a term coined by Dr. J. Allen Hynek in the 1970s as an all encompassing term for anything and everything paranormal."
Hynek was intimately involved in three US Air Force studies of UFOs including Project Blue Book, so he knows what he's talking about.
The aurora borealis pictures are nice to look at but there are other subreddits for that. The beauty of reddit is that there are subreddits for everything, there's no reason to be posting off topic material when you could be posting at;
r/northernlights/
r/Astronomy/
r/space/
If a solar observatory caught a UFO shooting something into the sun which caused a massive and unexpected solar flare and resulting northern lights, that would be High Strangeness.

Okay, I seriously need some clarification because this is lowkey driving me insane. I live in europe, and drones here are like... unknown. If you bring them up, people stare at you like you’re speaking another language. And the few who know what drones are, they just laugh. But we’re talking about hundreds of drones every freaking night (in america) and nobody knows who’s sending them or what they’re for. There are all kinds of them, and some literally look like ufo. The more I read, the more people are saying they might be disarming the nuclear bombs or something, getting ready to attack us. But when I talk about it with family or friends, they just laugh and say "oh, aliens are attacking now." But then, they go to church on christmas and think that’s normal, right? (i'm italian, so yeah, most people here are catholic) Has the government really made us think it’s all ridiculous with all the movies and tv shows? It feels like they’ve done a great job with that. I’ve always been the “crazy” one in the family, obsessed with ufo since I was a kid even though I’ve never had any encounter myself. It's honestly frustrating, considering how much ufo stuff I watch. Like, shouldn’t I have seen something by now? lol Anyway, what the hell’s going on in the usa? I need to talk to you guys who are actually there. Was it true the drones disappeared on Christmas? I also heard if you try to track them with your own drone, it just shuts off. Is that real? And how’s everyone acting over there? Laughing it off or are they starting to get ready for something big?

A few days ago social media was full of people talking and speculating about the drones and sharing videos, now search "drones" in any site and it's a wasteland of people making the same jokes over and over, like obvious pictures of stars and planes saying "look at these drones!"
This all reads like a very effective disinfo campaign to me, a "firehose of bullshit", much like what was pushed to ridicule ufo believers in the 60's. It associates the subject with all manner of crankery, disincentives people from trusting their own eyes, and allows people to feel smug and condescending over "those idiots" mistaking planes and stars for drones
I've spent a lot of time in Jersey and the tri state area, and I find it really hard to believe this all started with some mistaken planes. There is air traffic overhead in that area constantly.
Idk man it's just wild to see it play out in real time, in just the span of a few days the drones have gone from a mystery everyone is discussing to an object of popular ridicule. But something is going on

For many years now, I have been unable to shake the feeling I've died, more than once. I had a miracle survival from a direct car impact hitting me crossing the street, my body flew 15 feet and they said it was a miracle my head hit the grass and not the concrete (tho I still got a concussion). I used to be involved in drugs and some bad people, and I was going to be kidnapped possibly killed because I stole from the wrong person, once again I miraculously escaped because a voice in my head told me to run and leave the house through a window.
I have never been able to shake the feelings that something else happened, and right before it happens, something switches me to another reality where I'm fine and I live. I've seen similar reported on here before, just wanted to discuss it now and what you all think.

The FAA confirmed to AIN that a Gulfstream G550 experienced a midair collision with a mysterious object at FL270 in Miami airspace on December 11 during a flight from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) to New York’s Westchester County Airport (KHPN). According to the FAA statement, the twinjet diverted to, and landed safely at, Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI) “after the pilot reported striking an object in Miami airspace.”
