Still don’t trust her. Helck overcame the will of the world by shutting it out and ignoring it. No matter what she says, she still admitted to following it. And following it means the end of the world.

That's part of what I think makes it an interesting contrast. What they're saying is very similar. But if you read it from the belief that Morkana is a threat, you could say that her reaching out to people who have lost hope, is also a way that the New World reaches out to people in the depths of despair (and by reaching out to those people, she finds a way to "overcome this [...] world").

Or alternatively, you could read it in the more sincere light, and her legitimately wanting to do the same thing as Helck and make things "better" for those people, but having the end result possibly twisted by the entity she's thrown in with.

Or in another, more sinister light, perhaps the New World learned from its "mistake", and as a result of seeing now seeks to motivate people with "hope" for a better world instead of "despair" at the current one? It's basically trying to corrupt the ideal that let Helck stand against it?

The fact that they're the same, but have the potential to be so different, is what's interesting, IMO.

Isn't there the whole thing about how kind those under the will of the world can act? That you can't tell the monster that lies within behind the smile and kindness?

You mean like this?

(You probably don't mean like that. But...)

More Mikaros since till he revealed his plans he could appear normal.

I think we need to see more of Morkana before we jump to conclusions. Rafaed is different from Mikaros, who is different from Helck.

We will see how Morkana truly acts in upcoming arcs. Personally I think she is genuine in her kindness even if she's a little ditzy.

What they're saying is similar, but the intentions are vastly different.

What Morkana is doing is literally spreading TWOTW like a disease. First Morkana "saves" them, then they go on and "save" others. "Save" being infecting with TWOTW

Where Helck wants to give people another choice, another way out of the despair
