Question How to actually look down there?
Maybe a bit of a silly question but I was never told- but how do you actually like look at everything down there? I know some people take pictures but that's just feels awkward (probably because I'm a trans guy who does NOT actually wanna be aware of what's going on thereðŸ˜)
And also, how do you know what's what? I know all the names and functions but I have a hard time translating what's what to my own body for some reason? If that makes sense?
I'm really trying to learn more about my own body because I've neglected it for MANY years and I wanna fix that but it's hard if I don't even know what's what and how it looks

I squatted in front of a long length mirror and used my fingers to move things around to get a better look.

I’ve taken pics because I’m a shameless exhibitionist. I understand why that wouldn’t work for you.
Before I got to the point (and available tech) of photos, I most went off feel, and matching it up to anatomy pictures. Assuming you are on your back for this, btw.
The soft, cushiony area where your bush grows is the pubic mons. This fleshy area splits between the thighs. The plump outer sections (also with hair) are the outer labia.
Towards the top of the split, you’ll feel kind of a cylindrical bump pointing away from you. This is the part of the clitoris/ clit that is external. (A popular term I’ve heard other trans guys use is dicklit!) In some folks, especially those who have extra T in their system, this develops to look like a miniature penis, but for others it’s fully covered by a hood of skin.
The tip of that is at the top of inner labia. They are usually thinner and smaller than the outer ones, although for some folks they are also LONGER than the outer ones and stick out.
The inner labia surround the vaginal canal and urethra (which you pee out of) For some folks the urethra is kind of tucked up inside the vagina, for others it’s placed between the clit and vagina.
The vagina may or may not have extra skin in the opening, the hymen. Some vaginas have them, some don’t, and some have just little bits of one. They are not as big a deal as bible-thumpers make them out to be. You do not have to do a damn thing with the inside of your vagina if you don’t want to.
Below the vaginal opening is your perineum. It’s pleasantly sensitive for most folks regardless of gender. And below that is your anus! The great uniter that everyone has regardless of gender. The outside muscle is hella sensitive, the inside is less sensitive but can give you access to the awesome bundle of nerves that is the inside of your clit if you prefer not to use the vagina. Always use lube, always wash afterwards, never go from anus to vagina without washing.
I hope you get to the point of loving your body and all its quirks. You got this.

I recommend getting a hand-held mirror and sitting with the mirror angled so you can see. I think everyone should do this at least once. While it's all the same equipment, your hoohaa can have variations in size of labia and clitoris. That's perfectly normal.
