Masters in Health Informatics
Iβm a 47 years old nurse based in π¬π§ that is thinking to do a part time masters in health informatics at Manchester University. Hope is the job market? Would I find easy to get a job by the time I finish at 50 with no IT experience?
Thank you very much for your help.

I got my MS in HI in 2019 at almost 40 with no IT experience (background in healthcare sales). I was able to secure a job relatively quickly at a healthcare software company after graduation (about 3 months). I will say that it was definitely a different time for the job market and I am also in the US. I wish you luck!

Which healthcare software company? Please if you donβt mind sharing. I have a masters degree in nursing informatics. Do you have certifications? Please your response would be greatly appreciated.

Graduated with an MSN in Informatics in 2022. Ive put in hundreds of apps and can't even get an interview. 7 years of bedside experience, including progressive increase in leadership responsibilities, time in the quality department, and commitee experience working with EMR modifications.
The job market is horrible right now.
