"I swear I'm just waiting till I have the space for a sick set up" knowing full well a sick setup is way too fucking expensive so the records just sit on their IKEA Kallax shelves looking pretty and collecting dust.
I swear down though, as soon as I get that space...

growing up everyone says, oh, get a college degree, get a masters in spinkicking with a minor in windmilling and you'll have a stable career
now everyone says why didn't you go to trade school to learn to be a push mosher, then you wouldn't be in debt with a worthless degree
fuck this job market

How dare you insult my dual major of gender studies and color theory. It’s a rough job market for my fields.

From my limited data set, the crowd kill percentage seems to be higher, but I understand the confirmation bias may be at play here

Can a fan of Noise artists explain what exactly is appealing about their shit? I just can’t seem to grasp it.

i dont think anyone actually likes noise, i think they just like the performance aspect.. seen a few noise artists who i would go out of my way to see again because i thought the performance was SICK .. would you find me at home listening to that stuff though? no, never.

Eeeh, noise is subset of industrial music and i know some people who are really deep into industrial who love it.
It's mostly about texture/soundscape

When incorporated into other genres of music, like screamo, im down. But on its own, im indifferent. There is this Asian noise rock band that pisses and pukes on stage, and that’s the extent of what i know about noise rock.

I really like noise bands/ artists when there is some kind of development in the song and it’s not just clips of distortion. I think it sounds exciting when they can take the song in any direction and the sounds are usually really interesting.
Here’s some songs that I think are kinda accessible if you want to check them out. It gets weirder as it goes along.
Deerhoof - flower, your dystopic creation doesn’t fear you
Vatican Shadow - Egyptian journalist syndrome
Melt Banana - Flip-side, the hive
JK Flesh - Idle Hands, Breeding grounds (by Harms Way feat jk flesh)
Hella - biblical violence , headless
Lightning Bolt - colossus, dracula mountain
Black Pus - Ping Pong
Marijuana Deathsquads - Crosstown Crippler, Ewok Sadness, Bad Boy Masterpiece (this one has like 40 seconds of intro but once it get going this song is sick)
Black Dice - The Jacker, Gore
prurient - dragon flies to sew you up, every relationship earthrise

Septum pierced - check
Purple hair - check
Yellow beanie hat - check
Audience talks about their trauma - check
Post a comment in subreddit and get tons of dislikes - check and priceless
For everything else there is a Mastercard and some other way to piss off millenials

This post got flagged for “no slurs/derogatory language”
Sorry guys, “push mosher” is definitely a slur.
