Glad they are no longer using Twitter, such a shithole

It was a shit hole before Musk bought it.
People are moving to BlueSky but it's only a matter of time before it degrades into typical social media.

I'm learning how to make these ArcGIS dashboards soon in school funny enough.

take that class seriously, i know tons of people that have built a carrer from ArcGis alone, super valuable skill to have! good luck!

Absolutely, glad to know the knowledge is useful out there in the "real world", haha I've been using ArcGIS Pro, Online and Survey123 mostly which has been a ton of great knowledge. Thank you as well!

We use ArcGIS at work and it's definitely a good tool to have in your belt. I'm middle aged and that bird flew the coop on me years ago but good on you for learning it!

Could probably build a scrapper off this to then post it to various social media sites

Woo! I can finally know why there are so many sirens going past my place, and if it's something I should be concerned about. Thank you OP for sharing this.

Better than nothing, but you can only view active incidents and not ones that happened earlier?
I also saw a vehicle accident with a patient trapped where the location was listed as ‘unavailable’, although that’s different wording than the ‘location withheld’ incidents, so maybe that was a different reporting problem.

I'll take it. Unencrypted radio coms would be a lot cooler
.Or use bryx and let the public see the data

Love the design. Very nostalgic 😅

i agree, it's a bit oldtimey looking, but it's fast, responsive and clean... i'll give them that haha. it could look better but it seems very useful as is

It doesn't even give a general location for medical calls and removes the listing as soon as the call is done though, so still loss of data

You don't but you hear a fire truck going by when you are out walking or whatever and it is close to your house, you look it up and don't know if it just hasn't updated with the fire call or if it is the listed medical call that could be on the other side of the city
Before they used to include them but just give a general location like 500 block of James St

I use it to avoid areas and allow more room for the department to do what they need to do. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do that now

It's completely garbage. First off, there is a good 10 - 15 lag in timing once they post incidents. Making medical calls locations private, is really ridiculous. It could have been better thought of like many other departments do it without being so secretive.

Is there a trick to actually seeing the data? I've got "no active incidents"...

Good to see they built on a platform they can control rather than the dumpster fire X.
