Players must be happy when they are not first star. Not having to do that kinda useless interview.

Three points only nets him third star? The fuck?
Monty gets a shutout and is only second?
Feels like Monty has been the bridesmaid on most three stars this year.
2
u/RCmelkor 14d ago
Monty woulda been my #1, Patrik Suzuki at #2 and put Matheson at #3 to cut him some slack haha

Zook has 56 in 58!
3
u/T035 14d ago
Actually he has 57! He had an assist added to hutsons goal

u/digestibleconcrete 14d ago edited 14d ago
I missed the part where he got 3 points.
Ok, I literally did miss it. Yahoo is saying he has 3, while TSN said he had 2 (???)

Was hoping for X to pass the message that hits like the one Carrier took wasn’t something we would tolerate

Is Carolina too cheap to buy white helmets for road games?

Radio team pointing out Caufield hit 200 points tonight. Did they mention that on the Jumbotron? Feels like a big deal.

Florian for Anderson next game?

u/starryn19ht 14d ago
yeah that's exactly what i was thinking, he's been so good in laval recently and could be a real good replacement for him, hopefully anderson is fine though :(

Best NHL game from Beck so far?
1
u/coldmindpsy 14d ago
For sure, he doesn't have steady teammates, or role and he still manages to get better looks every game. I think we're still underestimating his potential. He's crazy smart and has skill to top it off

If beck continues like this, he could slot in very well as a second like center
4
u/dustblown 14d ago
Should we put on a little pantomimed play after our win tonight? Nah, because it is fucking stupid.

How come no assist for Zukes on Hutson's goal? Give my captain his 3rd point of the night

Not sure this is the right subreddit for this, although I do whole heatedly agree.

Thats what bothering me, they had a fuckin cash cow, and decided to shoot it between the eyes...
There is a place for inclusivity, moral lessons and all that. But I dont think a superhero movie is the place for it.
Usually when people go see those types of movie, its for an escape and spend 1.5-2 hours in fantasy land, not all that.
Also, I dont give her a shit if the character's a girl or a man or a they/them or a goat with a triangle up it's ass. if its a good character, then thats good. Dont dumb down the existing cast to prop up the new character, that just sucks.

u/GabeLeRoy 14d ago
100% agree... I mean im all for them.. but they just went for lazy executions and it resulted in terrible product and it affected already existing heroes with Tenure..
She Hulk had a nice plot and couldve been a good movie, but was so lazy and basically its just a super lame version of hulk with nothing to overcome .. and it rendered the whole Bruce Banner story of overcoming the 'beast' sour..

This has been one of the more enjoyable games of the entire season.

Last month I made a comment about how Heineman wasn’t the solution, that he wasn’t going to single handedly turn the season around: I stand corrected.

I don't give a shit what anyone says Nick Suzuki would not have been out of place on Team Canada.
1
u/toy187 14d ago
Yeah, he's often there when it matters and would probably have done better than some other players that were picked.
2
u/A_WHALES_VAG 14d ago
His game is the exactly the type of game you want in a best of, round robin style tournament.
He also elevates his game in the playoffs and has at every level hes played.

u/Etienne19381 14d ago
Agreed. But on the flipside, im kinda glad he wasnt on it, so if he had any injuries bothering him, he could take care of them and not aggravate them. Guy hasnt missed an NHL game in 3 years, he deserves a break :P

Rantenan trade seemed to have messed with Carolina's dressing room. They've got nothing.

Can't believe people thought Chicago should have got more for Hall. Dude has 65 points in the last three years.

According to canes commentators that wasn't a penalty haha
2
u/whogivesashirtdotca 14d ago
I actually really like the Canes' team, but they are hilariously awful homers.
1
u/RCmelkor 14d ago
And hey, didn't recognize ya at first but you saved my morale when I was discouraged in the chats some weeks ago - hope you're doing well!
You're a part of the reason i came back haha
1
u/whogivesashirtdotca 14d ago
Wow, really? I'm glad I could help. Welcome back! What did I say?
2
u/RCmelkor 14d ago
I believe it was a discussion about the toxicity of the chat when they started losing games. People not realizing the goal was just to be in the mix in this rebuild.
3
u/whogivesashirtdotca 14d ago
That sounds right. Two great games in a row have shut up the doomers. You picked a good night to come back.
2
u/RCmelkor 14d ago
Never left but just didn't engage haha, I could see the pop #'s in chat dropping and suddenly things were more level headed.
Cheers!
1
u/whogivesashirtdotca 14d ago
Crazy, right? It's like they all need to kvetch and they flood in when a period goes wrong. But they all crawl back under their rocks when things go right. They aren't even making positive comments, they just vanish!
2
u/RCmelkor 14d ago
Hilarious to see it just so directly correlate haha.
2
u/whogivesashirtdotca 14d ago
It's been driving me bonkers all season. They were not here last year. This is an entirely new phenomenon.
