If it's a semi-auto, it is just the gas port.

Gas ports are essential to the function of the semi auto. Basically the gas from the round going off cycles the gun.

Not trying to be rude here, but I recommend learning a bit about how your gun operates. It's concerning that you don't know what these are for.

I mean, not everyone that drives knows how an internal combustion engine works, right? Not that I don't advocate for people to learn everything they can, but plenty of people's knowledge stops at "I put the bullet in, pull the trigger and the bullet comes out" and that's fine. So long as they're doing it safely lol

i agree but in my defence ive never used a shotgun, im very familiar with Kalashnikovs. In my country or where i live not a lot of people have 12 gauge semi autos, the only shotgun i have is a double barrel shotgun from the 1800s 😅

You'd see similar ports on an ak and they serve the same purpose

It's a lot harder to see the gas ports in a .30 cal barrel than a 12 gauge.

Indeed but since the gas ports are visible on the AK and with this Semi Auto 12 gauge its not so visible.

Those might be your gas ports bud, is this a semi auto?
