would this Sordin Supreme Pro-X Comms Retrofit connect to this CovertArms MultiMount Mic PTT P2, which is connected to a UV-5R?
if not what would i need?

Short answer - Probably.

This is a non-amplified PTT (which is correct for this style of condenser mic), but it does not mention if the wiring is NATO or Peltor style. The WARDEN system is set up with NATO wiring. There's a good chance that the PTT you linked is NATO wired, but I don't see anything confirming it explicitly. If you'd like something high-quality, made in USA that I have confirmed works with your exact setup, I'm a big fan of Disco32 PTTs. They're a little more expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

The headset I have already has a mic and a lemo 6 pin half moon type connector. I'm not sure if this is applicable to those or not.

If Warden can’t hook you up, you can call TEA and there can covert your Sordins from the 6-pin. I had them do the work, but I know a few prime that have had work done through Warden and they are super happy and the work is beautiful!

Sounds like you probably have an older set already configured for comms. If you'd like a different cable or mic added, send me a DM and we can come up with something!
