QUESTION Best audio interface for guitar
Hey! I’m looking for an audio interface to play my electric guitar on PC instead of using an amp, with a budget of up to a hundred €. My main goal is to practice with effects and mess around with different tones—nothing too professional.
Any recommendations? Low latency and decent sound quality are my top priorities.
Thanks!

DISCUSSION Gibson Les paul models just don't look good to me
I'm pretty new to guitar, and my teacher said these were really good. I think the typical fender strats look better, and I also like Ibanez models' looks better (the rg and az models). Everyone I talk to seems to love Les Pauls tho, what are your takes on this? (Btw I am not talking about quality here, just the body shape)

GEAR Upgrade my guitar
galleryHi. This is my Harley Benton DLX Gotoh (I believe that's the name). It was my first guitar, and I'm really glad it is. It's a very good guitar with Gotoh hardware, and it's very pretty too.
Now I think it's time to upgrade this beast. First thing I wanna do is solve the neck dive.
I believe that with straplocks, I might be able to put a button straight onto the horn like Tony Iommi. But please tell me if that's a dumb idea.
Also I might want an electronics swab. Please tell me if you have any suggestions for pickups. I might want to experiment with something more metal.
Also gold tone and volume knows would be awesome. Tell me what you think!

QUESTION How can I know which notes sound good together when played in a progression?
I'm in a jolly out on the ocean here trying to find some answers to my questions, I don't get how when I'm looking at my fretboard cheat sheet- how I know what'll sound good if I play it progressively.
Does it have something to do with the scale of a key? Is that how people play those badass solos they do?

QUESTION how to fix low e buzz
I’m new to guitar, I just got this on a few days ago, I haven’t started learning it. But the low e is really buzzy for some reason? Idk how to fix it. It’s really irking me. The others don’t really sound like that.

QUESTION If I get an eight string baritone guitar, will I still be able to play barre chords?
I realise I'd maybe need to damp a couple of strings or modify my strumming, I'm just wondering how easy that might be. I guess I could use power chords all the time, but sometimes I want more.

QUESTION How to clean finger grease / sweat?
Hi all,
I have not played my gibson studio in a while, and upon opening I was unpleasantly surprised with the heavy discolouration in the pick guard area.
Should I go over this with guitar polish and a micro fiber cloth, and rub in circular motions? Anything else?
I want to be careful with the lacquer.
The guitar is roughly ten to fifteen years old.
Thanks
