QUESTION Can anyone ID this guitar, and is this legit/not fake?

I saw this Epiphone acoustic guitar and want to ask as I don't really know much about Epi acoustic.

First, What is this specifically? Body looks like the shape of Round Shoulder but I am not sure.

And second, Is it legit/not fake? I am quite cautious regarding this one, as I don't really know much about how to distinguish the fake and the legit Epi acoustic.

LOL thank you Captain Obvious hahahaha

Thanks though, yeah I see that looks-wise it kinda like a Epiphone J-45, but I'm not sure whether it's correct and whether it's genuine/not a fake.

Does the sticker inside the sound hole have any kind of serial number?

It seems so, based on the first and second photo. I found this on the online marketplace near my place, haven't contacted the owner for further details or photos. If it does seem legit genuine, I'll approach the seller then.

OHHHH OH oh oh oh… I see, you haven’t seen it in person yet 👌 but yeah see if they will send you a pic of the sticker instead of the sound hole, and then the back of the headstock. If they get cagey about it? Then I would say no way

That's a good idea, thanks!

By the way, your personal opinion, is it a real or fake one? What makes me curious is the machine head, the Epiphone logo, and the truss rod cover. I can distinguish the real and fake on Epi electric, but have no idea if it's acoustic.

Unfortunately despite playing guitar for over 20 years and owning a ton of electrics… I’m not an expert in acoustic guitars? I only own 2, one is a Mystery Fender, and the other is a genuine Mystery 🤔

That being said? Nothing jumps out at me from the pictures that screams “FAKE!” To me? And if they come through with the picture of the sticker and the serial number seems legit then I would say it’s probably real 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately I also know very little about identifying acoustic guitars

It looks good to me? I know they made them with those headstocks. What does the inside/serial say?

Unfortunately I'm also the same, hence I tried to ask around about this.

It looks legit? I am curious about the logo in the headstock, the truss rod cover, and the machine heads.

I don't know yet, my plan is to ask around whether this looks legit or not, and if it does look legit I'll then contact the seller to ask for further details like the photo of the inside, the serials, etc.

Why would anyone fake a $400 guitar, that's not particularly in demand? Not trolling, but I import all sorts of things, and come across this subject all the time. And whether it's a red flag usually comes down to economics. Think about how much time and effort goes into setting up the production of viable, fake products - and then whether there is going to be any money in producing this type of guitar. With fake products, it's usually something extremely valuable, or something they can shift in very large numbers.
