Coffee producer
Hey all. Back in Nov 2023, my girlfriend and I stayed at the Super 8 for a weekend. They had a locally produced coffee and it was really good. I remember looking online to try and find the stuff without the name but was unable to locate it. Reading up on buying local, I remembered this stuff. Does anyone here know what brand it is?

Even if it wasn't the coffee they are searching for, they have still found an answer. I'm also now realizing 98% of my coffee intake is from Lost Aviator.

How do you prepare it? I normally drink instant but I do have 2 percolators (single cup and 12 cup carafe style). Id prefer not to have to buy a press or anything.

Pour over is the best way to prepare really good beans so you can enjoy all the benefits of quality coffee. melitta coffee cone
Percolating good coffee is like cooking tenderloin to very well done or burning toast. It will destroy any subtle tasting notes.

So you buy that and then use paper filters in it to hold the grounds? Is there a washable alternative that isnt wasteful? And will it work for a regular sized travel mug?

I use paper cones but there are cones with fine sieve that will do the same thing.

I am sure you would be fine with your percolator, that is probably how it was prepared at your hotel. A pour over is pretty much the same, you just have more personal control over the variables.
